In fairness to West Ham, they were still in and competing in both of those games and could have also got something from them. That 3-4 game against Bournemouth was insane.

The behaviour in the Chelsea/Arsenal match yesterday was disgraceful. Costa definitely should have been sent off first and the sending off to Gabriel wouldn't have occurred had that happened. I like aggression in football and I'm all for teams having passion and showing a bit of grit against each other. But, what Costa did was wrong and he should have walked.

Disgraceful scenes at The Bridge, but as long as the rules and the refs punish the retaliators instead of the agitators cynical managers like Jose will continue to send players out on the wind up and get away with it.

Pure trolling by Jose to call Costa the man of the match, though to be fair I suppose Costa decided the result.

Garth Crooks was absolutely pissed yesterday at the ref, then contradicted himself by saying he failed to keep the game 11 vs 11 but then advocated sending both players of for any more nonsense. I would suggest the problem isn't too many red cards, but actually not enough, Costa should have been sent off, the only way to stop players like Costa is too punish them. Everyone blames the ref for not keeping a game 11 vs 11, but the players are responsible as well, it's not the ref's fault if a player deserves to go as Costa did.

Yeah I disagree that the ref should try and keep the game 11 vs 11. If someone deserves to be sent off he should be sent off.

Costa should've had a red card for any one of the 3 times he put his hand onto Kos's face. If that had happened Gabriel would not have been sent off unless something happened after Costa's red which would have been a possibility.

A very interesting game against Southampton. They were the better team in the first half and we scored against the run of play. Then, they didn't really come out in the second half. The goal right at the end made it nervy, but that's a good win away from home. Southampton were unlucky not to get something from the game and played well, particularly in the first half.

Martial looks comfortable up front and it's great to have some movement, pace and strength up there.

I think Costa did the right thing and did no wrong, I think Petr Cech should have been sent off for playing in the wrong colour shirt, I think Mourinho is quite possibly God, I think Chelsea will win the quadruple this season and next, I think Wenger is a specialist in failure and I think Ramar will not be missing me being active in the footy threads one bit.

As I Chelsea fan I still just about like Costa, but I do wish that he'd cut out all the moaning, winding up, dirty play and just focus on his football. It's evident that he's got bags of talent and half the time he wastes it by doing things he shouldn't be instead of just getting his head down and getting on with it.

I love Mourinho though, even though he's a git, he's bloody great and I'd not change him!

Gabriel's ban overturned and Costa given 3 match ban. Fair I'd say.

Also, Lewandowski, take a bow! He's scored 5 goals in exactly 9 minutes!!!

Lewandowski was sent on in the second half. Scored 5 goals in 10 minutes.

Incredible.

Haha, just beat me to it. Incredible isn't it?!

BBC are reporting it as exactly 9 minutes, to the second.

9 minutes? Just amazing. I was watching the match and didn't even realize it was only 9 minutes...

Will be great to hear what Hecking (Wolfsburg's manager) will have to say. Before the match he said: "Bayern Munich doesn't impress me."

Maybe Lewandowski does...

To be honest, I think Gabriel deserved to be banned. He kicked out at someone, that's dangerous play and he shouldn't have done it. He knew what he was doing, the fact that he was just retaliating to what Costa was saying doesn't matter.

Yeah I guess that's true, I'm just annoyed at Costa's antics and hope it stops him from carrying them on (it won't though).

I see there are reports now that Carneiro has left Chelsea. Cant blame her one bit. No way would I want to work for someone who treats people like that. I still hope something is done about Mourinho over all of this.

There's an investigation going on to see if he used sexist or abusive language towards her. He almost certainly used abusive language and likely used sexist language.

I hope the book is thrown at him because the medical team are there to keep the players safe and she has a duty of care to treat anyone who she thinks needs it regardless of the situation on the pitch.

Martial scored again. I like the guy already. Exactly what we needed to be honest, somebody with pace, strength and who can put the bluddy ball into the goal. Sometimes that's all you need, somebody who is clinical and a bit no-nonsense.

In other news, I just used my wildcard in the fantasy league, so expect these players to have a sudden dip in form:

Martial

Smalling

Hart

Rooney

Mahrez

Don't worry dazzy won't be around for a few days.

Up the Arsenal!

To be fair I haven't been around all season in here :)

But ripping down signs, hissing, aushqitz jokes - STAY CLASSY ARSENAL!!!

PS Outplayed you, you got incredibly lucky!! Though us playing Fazio was the best piece of luck you could've hoped for!!

Don't condone the stadium damage, but don't act holier than thou. You lot trash the Emirates every time. You set the bogs in fire once! There was no Auschwitz chants, I've never heard an Arsenal auschwitz chant. The hissing was shushing because your lot were quiet. Hence the 'Is this the Emirates?' chant afterwards.

You didn't outplay us. You may have had more possession but I'd say we had more chances at goal. It was a fairly even contest of mainly second string players.

Going to White Hart Lane on a school night as an Arsenal fan is the biggest throw back to 80s football you can get. Not for the feint hearted.
