Serebii Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 It's just leftover keyword code. People are reading way too much into it.
canand Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 It's just leftover keyword code. People are reading way too much into it. So why did Nintendo take it off?
Serebii Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 So why did Nintendo take it off? Because it's almost certainly erroneous. But, I could be wrong. Stranger things have happened.
canand Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Because it's almost certainly erroneous. But, I could be wrong. Stranger things have happened. We just have to wait and see
Ike Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Could be a QoL system or is fake, it's easy to do, which is why it's gone now.
Serebii Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 Ok. I just grabbed this from the web archive for the E3 2012 site <meta name="keywords" content="nintendo e3, nintendo, e3, e3 2012, nintendo e3 2012, nintendo e3 presentation, e3 presentation, wii u, wiiu, 3ds, new nintendo system, new nintendo console, wii at e3, nintendo 3ds at e3" /> There we have it.
Pestneb Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 We just have to wait and see We do, but considering some of the other key words it does seem it was just old data, and they removed it because it was inaccurate, to have someone research "new nintendo console" and find a page with no mention of a new console... At most I could see this being 3DS/Wii U revision, or possibly something QoL related.
canand Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Ok. -Dem0- Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Nice little video. No Live Press Conference is a shame, but at the end of the day all that matters is that Nintendo brings their A-game. Looking forward to it.
Ronnie Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Anyone else spot the sound effect from Wind Waker when those three statues fire beams of light at each other
flameboy Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Once again Nintendo showing they aren't playing the same game as everyone else. Still think it's a mistake over her every major conference is show on Spike TV's actual cable channel, last year outside of Reggie's bit with Geoff Keighley they just didn't get covered on the channel. Now granted it was a year where new consoles were being properly showed off by Microsoft and Sony which was part of their rationale for not doing one. I'd still wager they will announce a new "platform" for the QoL stuff whether that's actually a completely new hardware platform is another thing all together.

I'd still wager they will announce a new "platform" for the QoL stuff whether that's actually a completely new hardware platform is another thing all together. Last year annoyed me. During "Nintendo Hour", they had Mega64 (the guys from this video) there to talk about Nintendo, and Keighley was constantly trying to change the subject to talk about Halo, the PS4 etc.
Dcubed Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 They won't show anything QOL related here. Not only is it much too early, but it is also supposedly entirely non game related, so why would they show it at a gaming event? Much more likely that they'll show it at somewhere like CES or somewhere else completely un-related to video games...
Ashley Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 But even the non-gaming media know that E3 is not about the conferences. It's all about the show floor. Again, you're speaking for people that you have no right to speak for. How do you know that J. Smith from The Baltimore Star knows it's all about the show floor? How should they know that when every other company has a showing? What can they decipher from the show floor if they're not specialist? How do they know what's new? Without queueing for every game there, and then talking to the helper people to guide you through it, how will they know what the exciting new features are? What makes it difference from the others? When it's due and what platforms its on? The conference is to show and tell, the floor is to try out. The majority of non specialist press are not going to stand around waiting in queues for hours. I'm taking your silence as agreeing ^_^
Serebii Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 I'm taking your silence as agreeing ^_^ You do that :p
Goron_3 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Last year annoyed me. During "Nintendo Hour", they had Mega64 (the guys from this video) there to talk about Nintendo, and Keighley was constantly trying to change the subject to talk about Halo, the PS4 etc. That's odd, because I rewatched that the other day and they talked loads about Nintendo stuff and barely about the other consoles.
Serebii Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 That's odd, because I rewatched that the other day and they talked loads about Nintendo stuff and barely about the other consoles. Rewatched it today and it was over 50% non-Nintendo stuff in that interview
Cube Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 but it is also supposedly entirely non game related, so why would they show it at a gaming event? Because of the amount of non-gaming staff there. Even though Ubisoft probably had the best conference last year, I'm sure they still took time to talk about some stupid nerf gun thing.
flameboy Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Rewatched it today and it was over 50% non-Nintendo stuff in that interview God don't say that you're just inviting someone to time it all and prove you wrong! They won't show anything QOL related here. Not only is it much too early, but it is also supposedly entirely non game related, so why would they show it at a gaming event? Much more likely that they'll show it at somewhere like CES or somewhere else completely un-related to video games... I dunno I wish you were right but I have my doubts....
Ashley Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 You do that :p It's either agreement or rudeness so... You decide :p
Dcubed Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Because of the amount of non-gaming staff there. Even though Ubisoft probably had the best conference last year, I'm sure they still took time to talk about some stupid nerf gun thing. Yeah but that still came with a game... Nintendo's QoL stuff however is completely un-related to their consoles though... E3 doesn't seem like an appropriate place to talk about that kind of stuff...
