Ike Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) Seems to be working on my phone. Can't find any in the UK though, they all seem to be in Fance. :p Edited March 31, 2014 by Ike
Diageo Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I thought you'd have to go around the city looking for these to actually catch them. Turns out you just find them on the map and tap them. It's cool enough, found a few in Dublin, London and France.
Debug Mode Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Found about 30 so far. Togei can be found by searching 'Pokemon Centre Sapporo'
Debug Mode Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 South America is a big place, I'm not sure if I'm going to find Mew.
Hero-of-Time Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 You were beaten by Gaf, Joe. I hereby strip you of the Pokemon Professor title.
Serebii Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 You were beaten by Gaf, Joe. I hereby strip you of the Pokemon Professor title. By mere minutes I'm still the Pokémon Master.
Cube Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 For the very first time, I can say that I've caught 'em all. Yes, this is the very first Pokémon game that I've actually completed.
Diageo Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 How do you people have the patience to find them all?
Cube Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Oh, and this is almost certainly done with proper permission from Nintendo. The thing is...this seems like a bit too much effort. They've done crazy stuff before, but this just seems like there's going to be more. It works the other way round, too - would Nintendo/Game Freak give permission for just this thing, or is it part of something bigger? I think that Nintendo may actually be working with Google on some kind of official apps, and this is just some fun to break the ice. It would make sense for Nintendo to lump the work with someone like Google, too, as Google would make it for both Android and iOS.
Ike Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 They did the Dragon Quest themed maps the other year, I wouldn't read much into it.
Sheikah Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 How do you people have the patience to find them all? I'm not sure patience is the right word. :p People, try CERN institute.
Diageo Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 CERN is where I was brought to at the start. Where are the other pokemon labs?
Cube Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 CERN is where I was brought to at the start. Where are the other pokemon labs? Googleplex, Google Japan, Google Australia and the Charles Darwin Research Station.
Ike Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 By mere minutes It's just like how Gary beat Ash to becoming Pokemon Master, but then Ash beats Gary to become the new Champion.
Cube Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Cube is the Pokémon Master! Winner! Well, 14 years ago I was able to name every single Pokémon in order.
Frank Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I have only managed to get to 26. How sad. I was also hoping that it'd be more active in the sense that you'd have to walk around your area / the world finding these pokemon (like how the add portrayed). Maybe one day.
Serebii Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 (edited) Well, 14 years ago I was able to name every single Pokémon in order. Today, I can do that :P It's even more impressive seeing as there's now 721 Pokémon, not 251 People also throw numbers at me and I can give them the Pokémon. Edited April 2, 2014 by Serebii
Cube Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Today, I can do that :P It's even more impressive seeing as there's now 721 Pokémon, not 251 151 in the UK at that time. And I hadn't even played the game.
Sheikah Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Hold on, looks like we've got a couple of badasses right here.
