I wish I knew how, this was the only answer I could find: use the dpad to walk. Trying to travel around the first city with its fucking stupid perspective with the feeling like you're in an Ice Temple is a fucking nightmare. And the only consolation is that I can hold B whilst using the D-Pad... WHAT THE FUCK WERE NINTENDO THINKING?! As for movement, d-pad all the way. The circle pad is awful for regular movement.
