Lots of insights to the shooting process. I also enjoy hearing actors/actresses talking about their journey with the show. I'm excited for the second season to start on Friday. My friend and I have reached episode 7 a few days ago (i.e. the episode where it reeeaaaallyyy gets going). I cannot wait to see her reaction to everything that will unfold from now on. 1

drahkon Posted January 24 Posted January 24 This is my thread now! This is a Severance thread now. Part of me wishes that all episodes of S2 are available now, part of me is fine with each releasing every Friday. The discourse on the internet is pretty cool to follow So many theories are being thrown out, it's exciting to see which will prove to be true. I have my own (which I assume are the most popular/obvious ones), of course. Tonight I'll watch S2 E2 and I couldn't be more excited. This show could surpass Breaking Bad for me. But I also thought Westworld could do that and we all know that turned out to be a steaming pile of garbage. I'm also very much looking forward to the Severance podcast. Hearing Ben Stiller, Adam Scott and guests talk about each episode and how it was done/certain scenes came to be is super intriguing. Today's episode will feature the writer/creator of the show (Dan Erickson). 2
Nolan Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Honestly years of being spoiled with whole season releases for binging has left me pretty satisfied with Apple doing weekly episodes. It’s something to look forward to and adds a small touch of structure to week, as opposed to rotting a whole day/afternoon/evening/weekend away watching an entire series. Plus, unlike the old days there’s no FOMO on weekly episodes. I fell out of watching Lost on TV because it’s timeslot moved to share with something my mom watched so that was the end of Lost for me to be able to watch. Streaming removes that, at worst catching up is delayed. Anywho, Severance has already well surpassed Breaking Bad for me. I was never that enamored with that show though. Never even finished the final season actually. There’s episodes of Futurama I’d put higher. 1

High praise indeed. 1

bob Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Is this some sort of parody? They're so short of ideas, they're making a show about Batman's butler!? Can't wait for the follow up about Lara Crofts butler to kick off the Butler Cinematic Universe. Anyone watched it?

It's 6 years old and randomly has Paloma Faith in it (and looking at reviews it seems okay).

Hero-of-Time Posted Tuesday at 12:31 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:31 PM Quote The fourth season of The Bear will drop in its entirety Wednesday, June 25 on Hulu starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The binge release is a holdover from the FX on Hulu days; the series will stream internationally on Disney+. 1

S3 was much more mixed of a mixed bag than the earlier seasons, but the episodes that clicked with me did so in a very raw and fundamental level. Wanted to rip my hair out at points. Something to looking forward to after Andor finishes and I force myself through TLOU S2! Me and my mates went to London not too long after I watched through The Bear last year, at my suggestion (because of The Bear) – we just went around trying food from loads of different places and had a blast. Excited to try and do that again (or something similar) this summer! 1
drahkon Posted yesterday at 08:27 AM Posted yesterday at 08:27 AM Sure, will keep watching The Bear. Hope S4 will be a lot better than the most recent outing, though. 18 hours ago, Julius said: the episodes that clicked with me did so in a very raw and fundamental level. Definitely. Tina's and Natalie's/Donna's episodes were spectacular. In other news: I've finally gotten around to watching two more episodes of Poker Face. Highly recommended, by the way. Natasha Lyonne is so much fun to watch 1

Natasha Lyonne is so much fun to watch I've been meaning to get around to Poker Face ever since I learned of Rian Johnson's involvement, so I'll definitely be heeding this recommendation at some point Also, I think you should watch Andor at some point (pleaseeeeeee), @drahkon. This is part me getting desperate because not enough people on here are watching it, but also given your views on certain current world events (which I wholeheartedly share) and you being the person who I seem to share the most TV taste with on here, and me loving the show as much as I do, I think it's one I'd be remiss not to recommend to you. You don't need to be big on Star Wars to get it, it's simply fantastic television regardless of whether you're a Star Wars fan or not. It starts off slow but burns very brightly when it hits its stride in the second arc, and it's finished now with only 24 episodes across two seasons, so it's as short a recommendation as you can really give for a TV show in this day and age I feel. I genuinely think it's going to go down as one of the most important TV shows of the modern era. Even removing my love of Star Wars from the equation, it so brilliantly explores its characters and conflicts, and so bravely and openly denounces the way the world is going, that I think it's essential viewing for anyone who enjoys good television. Alright, that's my sales pitch Edited yesterday at 12:55 PM by Julius
Ashley Posted yesterday at 02:28 PM Posted yesterday at 02:28 PM I have heard it is good but not watched it myself 1
