If people want to step up to journalism this season they are so very valued. I cannot emphasize how valuable those reports are at making each week exciting. Peeps are you up for the middle league? I may try with lower but if anyone wants any league speak up now.

Inter if you get a chance to talk to Co-op could you get his picks?

I choose 9, 10 & 12 thanks! Will let you know what Co-op chooses...

All three are good suggestions! Wolfpac is good, although we can be nWo if Maddog doesn't mind.

Awesome, well as nWo has had it's day I reckon we take the name "Wolfpac" for our alliance! :awesome:

Co-op has chosen numbers 1 & 2!

Second time, alliance anyone :p Looking for team members in the lower leagues.

Edit: It's matches like that that will stop me from winning the title. Horrible. A bit surprising that 10 midfielders had 5 chances combined.

Gah, another major injury to a defender!

Only got 3 left so will need to delve into the transfer market...

If no one wants to do reports I could do the summaries (stylish, best player etc) but they will be simple and short. It's just to be able to put the upper league in the Haden's season end draw.

Sorry dude, i'm in a alliance with Maddog (i think anyway)

Against an inactive team, and i manage a draw. Was using a pretty youthful, inexperienced midfield as well. I'm considering spending some moola to get a decent youth midfielder before it becomes too late.

If anyone else wants to do it I would be delighted, I'm really not that good at it.

Round 1

Most Important Result: Rising Phoenix - Silverdale Hotpot 0-2

As one of the favourites this season Silverdale proved their worth in a close away victory, although with several causalties on both sides. With most players laying on the ground, the reporter is not sure who scored the goals, if any.

Best Stylish Play: Eights United

Eights United outplayed the guests with heavy teamwork rendering the opposition offence useless.

Most Important Player: Stanley Trainer, Madpool

For securing an important away victory for the team.

Round 2

Most Important Result: Leeds MOT - Eights United 1-4

Creating 15 chances to 2, Eights United dismissed the cannon fodder with little effort and containing the nr 1 spot after two matches played.

Best Stylish Play: Eights United

With 40% possession the home team barely held the ball on their own turf, forced to watch the many shots at their goal.

Most Important Player: Téofili Polo, Happenstance

For scoring two vital goals, including a penalty, against one of the top favourites and securing the victory.

Round 3

Most Important Result: Battlestar Odwinicia - Mcoys Sons 1-0

Odwinicia got back in the fight with a close victory against the underdog.

Best Stylish Play: Silverdale Hotpots

Good teamwork gave the most chances of any team this round and another important away victory.

Most Important Player Terry Hogan, Intergalactigo Stars

3 goals scored makes him worthy of this award.

Season Twenty Two - The Shake Up

Round One

***Seahawks 4-0 Dysonian Wanderers**

Seahawks have an easy first game against an inactive Dysonian Wanderers and have the game decided before the first half is over. Cappi Lucci led the onslaught against Wanderers today, scoring the first two goals in the 6th and 11th minutes. A third goal came from Josué Mendez in the 13th minute and just before the end of the first half, Cappi Lucci scored a hat trick as he made a lone run on goal in the 37th minute. The second half was calmer as Seahawks didn’t want to exert themselves too much. The job was done and they need their stamina for Friday’s game. Unfortunately Xurxo Carrascosa was relaxing too much and failed to see the ball heading straight for him. It smacked him right in the head and he had to leave the pitch with concussion.

*****DuDs Baggies 3-0 Real Peeps****

DuDs tear into Peeps in their first game of the season, earning the manager a 5-star rating. Despite a minor injury to one of their midfielders in the 14th minute, DuDs Baggies struck hard in the first half with Dudley Dhall scoring two goals in the 27th and 35th minutes. A third goal came from Krzysztof Szymanek (srsly that name?) in the 58th minute which won the game. Real Peeps suffered further set-backs towards the end of the game as one of their defenders had to leave the pitch with a heavy injury and another was red carded! The bad luck spread to DuDs Baggies and Jason Dyer also had to leave the pitch due to injury.

***The Comerade Co-op 5-0 Emo Blades***

Another easy start against an inactive team, this time it’s Comerade Co-op who feel the benefit. Co-op went 2-0 up at half time thanks to goals from Marat Miloradovich and Pavel Bulatov but they suffered from two minor injuries at each side of the 45 minute mark. Still, the substitutions breathed fresh life into the team and they went on to score another three goals while Emo Blades could only manage one attempt on goal due to a lack of direction from their Coach.

****Bubbles FC 2-0 Recall United**

Bubbles set their standard for the season, taking down Recall who were very nearly promoted last season. The first goal came in the 18th minute when Liam Haley scored a header from a cross. Recall were having a nightmare of a game, enduring three yellow cards and one straight red in the 36th minute when Wesley Kay undeniably attacked Roman Muraviev of Bubbles FC who had to leave the pitch with his injuries. In the 70th minute Bubbles got their revenge and Evan Wallbank of Recall United had to leave the pitch due to injury. With their weakened defence, Recall were in a poor position to stop any attacks and in the 85th minute Mario Haber scored the second goal for Bubbles FC.

***Aqui1a All Stars 0-1 Winston Gardens FC****

Another match with many injuries here as Danny Oates of Aqui1a All Stars was injured in the 21st minute, leaving the team directionless with no Captain to follow. Soon after, Brody O’ Laoghaire of Winston Gardens also had to be substituted due to injury, as did Cameron Fogden of All Stars in the 31st minute. Archie Rosebotham took advantage of the situation and managed to break through and score for Winston Gardens in the 39th minute. The second half was much more in Winston Gardens favour, after a closely contested first half. They managed 4 attempts on goal against 1 from All Stars but no further goals were scored. In the 90th minute Magnus Ahnfeldt of Winston Gardens was the last player to be substituted due to injury and after 10 minutes of injury time, Winston Gardens emerged victorious.

Most Important Result: Bubbles FC 2-0 Recall United, Recall are a strong side and it was a surprise to see them bested so easily by Bubbles today. Recall may be in trouble if they can’t shake this off and win their next game.

Stylish Play: The Comerade Co-op, Nine chances and five goals against one failed attempt from their opponents. Co-op had the teamwork and the strategy while Emo Blades struggled to keep up.

Best Player: Cappi Lucci, Seahawks FC, Lucci scored the first two goals for Seahawks and got a hat trick by scoring the last one too. This is what you want from a striker!

Round Two

*****Real Peeps 6-0 Dysonian Wanderers**

It’s Real Peeps’ turn against an inactive team and with the benefit of seeing their tactics in the last game, it’s easy for Peeps to earn 5 stars and increase his team’s goal difference. Some bad luck from the last game carried over to the start of this one and Bryan Tynan of Real Peeps has to be substituted due to injury and Dominic Gili saw his chance to shine. In the 21st minute Gili scored the first goal for Real Peeps with Monty Collett scoring a second in the 42nd minute. Dominic Gili scored again in the 48th minute and continued to hog the ball to score again in the 57th and 77th minutes. In the 81st minute Real Peeps were awarded a penalty from which Ernst Heinzmann was able to score to see Real Peeps win 6-0 with 16 chances to 0.

****Emo Blades 4-1 Seahawks FC****

Seahawks were full of confidence going into this game, what luck to be drawn against two inactive teams as their first two games. Their confidence drained as they saw Jayseven coaching from the sidelines. Seahawks were caught completely off guard and Emo Blades stormed the first half of the game. Christopher Sheene was first to score with a goal in the 24th minute followed closely by a goal from Filipe Coissoró in the 27th. Gwladus Dent joined in the fun with another goal in the 29th minute. With three goals scored in five minutes, Seahawks withdrew and played defensive for the rest of the half. In the second half Seahawks stayed defensive but Christopher Sheene still managed to score again in the 62nd minute. In the 84th minute Seahawks managed to push into Blades’ half and earned themselves a corner. Leandro Giraldes kicked the ball high into the air and Jermias Ríos was able to score from a header, however it was too little too late and Emo Blades win 4-1.

***Recall United 0-0 DuDs Baggies*****

Another five star rating for DuD as they hold Recall to a draw, or rather Recall held Baggies to a draw as Baggies managed 7 attempts on goal while Recall were forced to play defensive and didn’t get a single shot in themselves. Despite earning more possession and chances, DuDs Baggies were unable to get past Recall’s defence and must settle for a draw. It looks like DuDs Baggies are aiming to win this season while Recall are struggling against these new, youthful teams.

****Bubbles FC 1-0 Winston Gardens FC****

A close game today as both sides get some decent shots against each other but Bubbles just edged it. No goals were scored in the first half as both teams locked each other in the midfield but Bubbles did manage one attempt which flew wide. The second half was even more tense as both teams managed to break through a couple of times, only to be disappointed until the 85th minute when Liam Haley managed to score from a header for Bubbles FC.

****Aqui1a All Stars 1-1 The Comerade Co-op***

All Stars were the dominant force in this game with 8 chances against 2 but Co-op’s defence proved solid and they held All Stars to a draw. The first half was in All Star’s favour as they managed three attempts on goal against one but were unable to score. A shock came in the second half when Vasily Arseniev of Co-op scored from a header and although All Stars barely lost possession for the rest of the game and had a further 5 attempts on goal, they were only able to score once to save themselves from defeat.

Most Important Result: Emo Blades 4-1 Seahawks FC, Emo Blades hit Seahawks hard today to show the Middle League that they are not to be counted out just yet. If Jayseven can keep his attendance up, he should easily be saved from relegation once again.

Stylish Play: Real Peeps, After a heavy injury in the 15th minute of their game, Real Peeps were spurred on to break free of their bad luck and this was the perfect game to do it. With no real opposition, Real Peeps were able to have fun in this game and take turns shooting at the goal.

Best Player: Dominic Gili, Real Peeps, a new signing for Real Peeps who only had his first game last round. Dominc Gili scored all of his shots on goal, scoring four out of six goals for Real Peeps.

Nice write-up as usual Peeps, always a pleasure to read them.

@Tales, if you don't want to do the reports for the elite league, i could possibly take it off your hands and give it a shot. If it's ok with @Haden that is?
