It's like you've given up before you've even started because of what might happen in some weird alternate reality. I really could smack some of you upside the head. You're right, some of us have almost given up, and that has become pretty deeply rooted psychologically in some of us. It's easy enough for someone not dealing with something in their mind to say to others to just "get over it" (or "stop it!"), but the world just doesn't work that way. You can't just tell a depressed person to cheer up; you can't just tell a person with a phobia to stop being afraid. Likewise, you can't just tell a person suffering from a crumbling low self-esteem to believe in him- or herself - it just isn't that simple. It shouldn't be made out to be a negative thing. It's a great thing. You don't particularly have to be great with girls to "pull" on a date. I did a loooooooad of stupid shit when I initially met Ine. Three years later, I have ensnared her in my trap. The problem is that we men seem to have it in our minds that these women only expect perfection, and that they are perfection themselves. Nobody is perfect. They won't go off you because you say silly stuff. It's not actually as huge a thing as we make it out to be. If you can speak to another person without killing them or making them angry, then you can do so to a woman. If not, then you're talking to the wrong one. Some people just don't have this magical "x factor" or whatever you want to call it. Most of us mere mortals muddle along and are fortunate we come across a person that is attracted to go near us once in a blue moon.. You can say "fake it til you make it" or just do it, but then you aren't being yourself when you faux confidence you don't have. Its true. I've done a lot of things in my life. Things that often push women away. The only person I could get to sit with me in school was my sister! I turned to religion and became a professional Buddhist. But it didn't work so I took up modelling. Again, I made no money, so I went into advertising. Little did I know I was promoting fake products. With three fails in a row, I turned to drinking. And that didn't turn out well either. In fact, it gave me the shits. My appearance suffered from my skewed views. And eventually hit a low point. But I dragged myself and started getting down, and people started standing back, putting their hands up and taking notice. And I was king again. It proves that for all the downs you have....at the very least, attractive women will allow themselves to be photographed with you.
