Are we meant to get Velocity Ultra today?

So far mostly been playing Gravity Rush and loving it :)

Somehow seems I didn't "purchase" Disgaea 3 or MGS HD Collection :/ I'm sure I clicked on everything I could for the last few months but now I can't find them in my download or transaction lists, d'oh.

Should I play any older Persona games before 4?

P3 and P4 are the two really good ones. If you like P4 you'll like P3, although you'll feel like the battle system has regressed a bit if you go back to 3 after 4. They're standalone in terms of story though.

Start with the original Persona and work your way up.

I'm just kidding, start with Persona 4.

As for Disgaea 3, it was released on PS+ in the US a couple of months back, and when asked if it would make it to PS+ in Europe, they said it might be tricky because it's not available on PSN everywhere.

Persona 4 Arena is the only one that is really linked to them, mainly with 4 but characters from 3 do appear. You do get nods and cameos though in the games. P4 has a couple of characters from 3 in it and I never saw it myself but apparently the PSP version of 3 had someone from 4.

Unless they've added more cameos in Golden, the only Persona 3 cameo in Persona 4 is Chihiro, who's a minor social link character and you won't miss much by not knowing who she is.

Persona 3 Portable has a cameo from a younger Yukiko if you play as the female protagonist. If you play through the game with the male protagonist, you have to settle for a cameo from Noriko Kashiwagi, who's a teacher and minor character in Persona 4.

And yes, Arena connects both games (but with the focus on the Persona 4 cast), but that's pretty irrelevant, since it was released after Persona 4 anyway.

Edit: This is really uninteresting, just play Persona 4.

The next time a Vita game wants me to hold up the rear camera to a bright light, I will throw my Vita in the toilet and set fire to it.

The light bulbs in my house aren't bright enough for those. I have to turn on my phone's flash lights for the thing to work.

If you miss some games on Playstation Plus would they come back at another day?

I really want ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection but I'm not sure if I'll have a Vita when it's available on the PS store.

I wouldn't count on them getting released on PS+ again, but I'm not sure why you'd need a Vita to play a PS3 game? Just download it on your PS3, or if you don't have one - but are planning to buy one eventually - you may be able to sign up for PS+ and acquire the games from their online store.

Once you've acquired a game for either system you can download it whenever you want as long as you have a PS+ subscription, so you don't need to worry about them being removed or anything like that.

I came across an ebayer who's selling a pre-owned Vita (Wi-fi), two games & 16GB memory card for £150 (Free delivery).

He also stated that:

"The console is in near mint condition"

I asked him if the console and the games had their original packaging & manuals and they confirmed that it did. They also have 100% positive feedback from 722 sales.

I put it on my watch list for now, what do you guys think?

EDIT: Here's the link.

Rayman Legends Coming To Vita

Legends will also feature two-player multiplayer, online challenges, Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell-themed levels. Legends will also include five exclusive touch-based levels on Vita.

“Players can use two consoles in local multiplayer, and play all the levels in the game in co-op mode. You can use the zoom feature at any point in the game, which gives you a chance to check out the graphics in more detail or even find some hidden goodies. One thing we’re really excited to add this year is that players can use the Rear touch pad to avoid blocking the view with their finger.”

A few more details. Sounds like they've really invested time into the Vita version. Day one and up for co-op.
