Goafer Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Happenstance and I came across a rather special Amazon review when looking for headphones. I've used a screenshot to allow you all to appreciate it's glory: Anyone else found some rather special people on Amazon or any other site?
Cube Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I think I know what kind of packaging he's talking about - the plastic ones that are completely sealed around the edges. I absolutely hate anything in that kind of packaging - any product in that packaging deserves a 1/5 (well, not really, but it is really, really annoying).
MoogleViper Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Were you the 1 person who found it helpful?
Goafer Posted December 30, 2010 Author Posted December 30, 2010 Were you the 1 person who found it helpful? Well I didn't cut myself when I opened the packaging. He made the mistake so I could learn from it* *That may have been the reason I didn't cut myself on the packaging. Other people might suggest that I didn't cut myself because I'm not a total spazztard or possibly because I didn't buy those headphones.
Cube Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 This kind of packaging is the one I'm trying to describe: It's especially hard when you don't own scissors.
Goafer Posted December 30, 2010 Author Posted December 30, 2010 This kind of packaging is the one I'm trying to describe: *an image* It's especially hard when you don't own scissors. To most people that would pose a problem. I'd just cut them on my rapier like wit.
Happenstance Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Id just use the scissors I just bought to open it......oh wait
The Peeps Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I think someone somewhere probably found it funny to package scissors in that way. The rest of us need to hunt down and kill that person.
drahkon Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 The thing is, he's only vulnerable when attacked with scissors.
Cube Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 The thing is, he's only vulnerable when attacked with scissors. Don't let him near any rocks.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 While people's reasons for giving certain scores can be silly and/or directly stupid, the point about packaging (and especially THAT type of so-utterly-evil-that-not-even-Satan-would-fuck-it packaging) is actually not entirely invalid. Though it should probably only have deduced one (if any) stars from the score. Also, consider all of the above posts thanked by me.
nekunando Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) I find it even more funny that it was Ron Dixon from Brookside that posted the review.. Also, I remember this video being posted previously in another thread.. but there's no harm in seeing it again Edited December 30, 2010 by nekunando
Ashley Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 That plastic packaging is easy. Find your nearest knife and just trace an outline around it. Peace of piss.
jayseven Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Perfect vid to describe why I don't like Curb Your Enthusiasm. Controlling soundtrack, OTT 'improv' and serious lack of FUCKING COMMON FUCKING SENSE.
Rummy Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 There once was an amazing one i encountered once that a guy wrote on ebuyer for some speakers he bought that had a buzzing sound then he found a wasp living in them or something, but i think the product is no longer stocked so the review is no longer there
