jayseven Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Yeah, I'm fairly certain the Diva trait goes away after a time. Should be my forwards sorted for teh next 15 seasons :P
Mr_Odwin Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 . 16 3 striker with shooting power and free kick (and diva ) skills. Worth 3.3m!!!!! Best youth ever! So I've not got 6 bloody strikers again ffs. My 18 5 is allegedly worth 5.5m so I'll try selling him. Not the 18 5! He's amazing! I would sell the 19 and 17 year olds. But even your 17 year old is great.
Charlie Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Mcoy dosen't think Diva is that bad of a trait, once the player is settled he'll perform the same/slightly better. Moody can be so/so, can make a high form striker amazing. If the diva has his favourite number he'll play really well.
Brian Mcoy Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 If the diva has his favourite number he'll play really well. Mcoy knows the negative effect will be removed if you give him his number. The diva still takes a bit of time to adapt to the squad though.
jayseven Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 19 4 with training cone and shooting power (and unsportsmanlike) 18 5 with freekick specialist, fragile and goal instincs (whoops... didn't spot that last one!) 17 4 with heading and play-anywhere Hmmm yeah 19 4 is a better one to get rid of! ... Aiii! >_< Well, too late now. URG.
Mr_Odwin Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 (edited) Ooooooooh, a training cone! He might develop better long-term than the fragile geezer. And those 2 visible skills mean the 18 5 should go for loads. Basically, all your forwards are mint. Edited November 29, 2010 by Mr_Odwin Automerged Doublepost
jayseven Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Thanks Yeah got some good prospects! My defense has been good for seasons but I still have to wait a few more to get these guys up to scratch. Definitely don't have the skill of a manager as some of you guys.
Nikos9 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Does anyone know who the dodgy/good agents on the tranfer market are?
jayseven Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 AFAIK there's no way of telling for sure. It's likely that there's three 'trustworthy' agents for each player, not necessarily the same for everyone. If you spend a bit of money evaluating the offers from agents you can find one to trust. I have one who is 100% right about the skill, and sometimes I get additional special qualities. Another I always get extra special qualities but the skill is often wrong.
jayseven Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 P.S. Stupid stupid draw 6 attempts to 1! I guess my 16-2 striker wasn't going to do well against a keeper who played a 13 on the day! Missed a penalty, too. No game for a week Aaaaaaaaaaaah! Not a good start to the season :P ... Lol Just saw oddy and mcoy's match stats. Mcoy had 9 chances to Oddy's 1... and oddy won 1-0! His keeper played a whopping 17!
ReZourceman Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 To not have a match and maintain position on week 2/3 is FTLULZ.
Ellmeister Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 That was not supposed to happen. Ditto. My goalkeeper has great form, great skills and is a 19-5 yet he has never played a better game than 4!

Does anyone know who the dodgy/good agents on the tranfer market are? I trust Kevin Kagge and two others. One of my work colleagues always evaluates Tony Dakota players because he undervalues as much as he overvalues.
Haden Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 Deserved to lose by more got tactics utterly wrong and Marconossi got killed so not to dissapointed.
Charlie Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Deserved to lose by more got tactics utterly wrong and Marconossi got killed so not to dissapointed. Did you guess 3-5-2? I originally had that but saw my last games were, 442, 442, 352, 352, 352, so couldn't risk changing back to it!
Brian Mcoy Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 (edited) Mcoy is pretty upset. Edited November 30, 2010 by Brian Mcoy Mcoy deletes his massive rant.
Haden Posted December 1, 2010 Author Posted December 1, 2010 Please allow me to introduce myself I'm a man of econs and tactics I've been around for a long, long season Beaten many a man's team and faith And I was 'round when Happenstance FC Had his moment of glory Made damn sure that Villan Became to aggressive and sealed his fate Pleased to meet you Its Odd if you haven't guessed my name But what's puzzling you Is the nature of my game Haden United 4-1 The Sixty Fourthers Haden United started their title defense in immense style as they made light work of the promoted 64s. United went for a 4-4-2 formation against a 4-5-1 approach from the 64s, despite the extra man in midfield 64s created only 4 chances against 10 for United. This pressure resulted in an early penalty for United that Durov easily slotted away, however Yaketi got the 64s back on level terms with a volley from a corner. In the 2nd half the 64s looked tired and Marconossi finding the net was no surprise, Durov shortly after hit a powerful header in. When a freekick was given away on the edge of the 64s box with 6 minutes to go Durov was destined to take it. He stepped back and smashed the ball over the wall and into the top corner to earn his hat trick and give United their 4th goal. United looked very impressive while the 64s seemed out of their depth after a promising opening win and may have to reassess their tactics. Madpool 0-0 Bayern Bru Madpools disappointing start to the season carried on as they were outplayed at home and some may say lucky to escape with a 0-0 draw. Madpool are not known for their depth of attacking talent so it shocked everyone to see them going for a 3-4-3 formation, Bru lined up with a more usual 4-4-2 set up. The problem for Madpool lay in the fact that Monk and to a lesser extent Gay really need to have some time to develop before being considered more than back up for Naranjo. This meant that Madpools attack while looking good never tested Bru enough, Brus attack also on the youthful side failed to make an impact. Their midfield by far outplayed Madpools and gained 61% possession a stat that caused booing amongst some Madpool fans aimed at their midfield. In the end the sides shared the points with Bru the happier team having gained an away point after 90 minutes. Essex Elites 2-1 Mcoys Sons The Elites gained their first win of the season against an ill disciplined Sons side. Both sides played 4-4-2 and shared an even amount of chances and possession. Rufus showed his growing value to the Sons as he curled in a lovely free kick to put the Sons ahead early in the game. However some poor defending gave Brammer who scored 7 for the Elites last season (he's a defender!) a free kick to make it 1-1. The Sons earned 3 yellow cards this match and in the 2nd half the Sons defense brought down an Elites player in the box. Hooke stepped up and sent the goalie flying the wrong way, the Elites comfortably held on for the win. A good solid win for the Elites but a disappointment for the Sons who have yet to reach their potential this season. Battlestar Odwinica 3-2 Roostophe Rovers Rovers will be at a loss how they didn't come away with at least a point from this amazing game. Odwinica looked balanced with a 4-4-2 formation against Rovers 3-4-3 but after Tartara had scored for Rovers and Sherwat smashed in a long shot for Odwinica, Odwinica were at a major disadvantage. Their creative forward Bello after an altercation with Sheldon shoved him over injuring him in the process earning himself a straight red. Odwinica seemed determined to unsettle Rovers and goalscorer Tartara was the next victim as he had to be subbed after picking up an injury. Rovers though who looked so much more impressive up front went ahead when Mazzoleni headed in a goal with 9 minutes to go. However more drama was to come, after a Rovers defender handled the ball in the box Dinicolantonio stepped up to make it 2-2 from the spot. This seemed to be it until in injury time Oy put Groves through with a great lob, Groves chipped the incoming Rovers goalie to score the 18th goal of his career and surely the sweetest. The home fans were ecstatic what a way to bounce back from their opening defeat! Rovers fans were left wondering how it all went wrong. Most Important Result – Battlestar Odwinica 3-2 Roostophe Rovers, Odwinica get straight back into the league and hurt Rovers title chances even at this stage. Turned on Style – Haden United, looked a terrifying force as they swept the 64s aside. Player of the Day – Roman Durov, Haden United, was utterly stunning as he scored a hat-trick in the best match of his career.
Tales Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Match Day 2 Most Important Result: The Comerade Co-op 1-2 Intergalactico Stars. The Stars scores a last minute goal establishing them as one of the big favourites to win the title. Turned on the Style:Eights United 3-0, first match of the season United has no problem getting through Leeds on their mission back up. Player of the Day:Shorrock, Intergalactio Stars. The Stars are going to live or die by this guy. Match Day 3 Most Important Results: The Seahawks 2-1 Eights United. Surprising match from Seahawks as they kicked Goliats ass. Although scoring at 91 minutes is not fair. Turned on the Style: Intergalactico Stars 6-1. Favourite contender to win the title if they continue like this. Player of the Day: Shorrock, Intergalactico Stars, what he lacks in team spirit he makes up for in awesomeness.
Rowan Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Pretty poor skill level and no special skills for his age...but his surname may spark a buyer... If a certain manager is interested in him then he's on the transfer market until the 4th. Unfortunately I don't have VIP so can't directly sell...
Dyson Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Hahaha Thanks but no thanks - he's probably the ugly nephew that nobody likes. A disgrace to the name!
Brian Mcoy Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Mcoy got a 1.4 mill financial event today so maybe Mcoy's luck is turning around? ><
Tales Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I'm losing it. That was way too close. The Comerade Co-op managed to get 8 yellow cards to 8 different players playing against Eights united and I got the deciding goal at 88 minutes :P
