I bet they've run out at the store I'll be going to, though. It would be typical. Does anyone know when the prices went back up last year? Is it just on launch day, or until stock runs out, or what? And although it's unlikely, does anyone know what will happen this year? Ta.

I was going to go trade in some stuff for this tomorrow, but it appears LoveFilm aren't feeling well and have decided to send me a rental copy for release day. Does anyone know if the various deals are week-long affairs or one-day offers? Figure I might as well give the rental a good shake before getting a copy to keep, but not if it'll have me paying £55 a few days from now.

The graphics are fantastic as is the music used, there are some really epic tunes floating around the game. Im a huge fan of the explosive crossbow, its funny as hell sticking an enemy with it and watching him panic before he blows the hell up.

I bet you 1 in 10 games online you play will have people doing the care package glitch. Not that big a deal, just go kill them and steal them if they do.

Treyarch actually responded and moaned about people finding issues. Why not fix something as obvious as the care package glitch before launch in the first place? There will be plenty of issues come launch. If new stuff come they wont be able to keep on top of it. The top MW1, WAW and MW2 players already are placing it behind MW2 for online. I dont balme them the complaints sound irritating. Link? 101010101010

There was an awesome post earlier on hotukdeals which gave a summary of all the deals at the supermarkets (some of them rumours but most confirmed), but it's been pulled down for some reason so I can't link it. Still, looks like everywhere is doing deals, depending on what you want to buy/spend some are better than others. Sainsburys has it for around £28 if you spend £30 instore, there are a few similar ones but with trade-ins instead of cash, and as someone mentioned above tesco is doing a deal. search youtube. Also other forums have plenty of info and people who have already hit prestige several times. I find it a little hard to believe that 'top players of MW2, WAW, MW etc are already placing this below MW2 for multiplayer'. First of all, who are these top players? Professionals? Or just people who played the game a lot? And how did they get their hands on this game and play it enough to make a clear and fair decision? At the very earliest they would have got the game a day or two ago, and even if they were playing it constantly (somehow) they wouldn't have put as much time into it yet as they did with MW2. Basically I'm saying I can't be arsed searching youtube for something I don't believe is true. If you want your posts to be more believable post the links rather than just saying 'google it'. And if you get a chance have a quick look at Dante's posts for how news should be done on a forum. Cheers!

For the uninitiated I suppose I should explain what I meant by a proxy Gamertag. Basically it's a workaround for Live's rather basic Friend system, so a 'tag is created which everyone intending to play the game joins, then other people can see who's online using the View Friends of Friend function. It's not a perfect system but it's better than nothing. Anyway, seems like the game received an update yesterday that tweaked some things in multiplayer. I don't know if it got rid of the care package glitch. Certainly seems to have put an end to quick-scoping, though.

Choze, you've been pretty much against the game from the start from what I've seen so why you waste your time trolling the thread is beyond me. Ironically, however, I very much doubt this will be as much the mess your trying to make it sound as that still-in-beta-mess that is MAG. Anyway, did contemplate going to ASDA to get this at midnight but the weather up here is atrocious (amazing, who would have thought that heavy rain/gales and Scotland would go hand in hand :P). Will just pick it up tomorrow morning on the way to Uni.
