Roostophe Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I'm miffed that two players got injured more than the dropped points.
ReZourceman Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Woot. I know I've got a game in hand, but I'm 3 points clear. Oh man Jay is going to be fucking raging (which will be hilarious) 0 - 8 chances and the score was 0 - 0.
Ellmeister Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 A win today puts me away from relegation, for the moment anyway. Hopefully manage to beat Mr Mundi. But seeing as we started at the same time, and we have similar team abilities, it's tough to call I think! Happy with the win ^_^
Brian Mcoy Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 (edited) Mcoy actually had a good game, controlling the midfield battle and creating 7 chances. Unfortunately injuries and a constant bad performing goalkeeper/forward are costing Mcoy games at the moment. Mcoys last two games have had some insane goalkeepers which have really done damage to Mcoy's strikers form. Edited December 4, 2009 by Brian Mcoy
DuD Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Somehow won the opening game of the season for my other team, with absolutely shite form and whilst being an inferior team?? The next game is against what appears to be a managerless team at the moment whoooooop If i can survive this season, i might have the team sorted and in a position to compete next season.
Tales Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Got a 18 year old junior midfielder with 5 in skills. I suppose that's good? I have way too many midfielders now though. He's worth almost 4 million.
Roostophe Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 That was lucky for you, your midfield is awful. Have him as a regular in your starting line-up. That way, he'll get plenty of match exp and should well become a brilliant player.
gaggle64 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 A pleasant and unexpected victory I must say. I'm surprised I won this one looking at the stats, but then if the stats were worth anything I should've won my last match. I'm having some odd luck this season.
Dyson Posted December 5, 2009 Author Posted December 5, 2009 As you can probably tell, I've pretty much given up this season. Got no time for N-E or X11 as it is any more..disappointing stuff. Might make this my last season so as not to watch Dysonism F.C plummet to the bottom league. That said I don't think I could bear to lose my team..Hmm! ._.
ReZourceman Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 How come you don't have any time? Surely 5 minutes a few times a week isn't too much?
Charlie Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Woopwoop. 4-0, it seems when I actually remember to set tactics my team is actually alright. My new goalie doesn't hurt either :v I forgot to set my tactics and won fortunately! Would have been disastrous to lose that game! You guys boozing yet? Gutted I had to leave, wish I could've stayed for another night but I have to work tomorrow unfortunately.
Dyson Posted December 6, 2009 Author Posted December 6, 2009 How come you don't have any time? Surely 5 minutes a few times a week isn't too much? You'd be surprised. Forced in to working a ton of unpaid overtime at the moment so when I get back I tend to want to sleep, or see my girlfriend. Today was the first day I've had off in 9 days, and I spent it getting some much needed gaming time in. I just don't seem to have any time for anything at all any more. If my hours were normal, then perhaps.. *le sigh*
Haden Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 A pleasant and unexpected victory I must say. I'm surprised I won this one looking at the stats, but then if the stats were worth anything I should've won my last match. I'm having some odd luck this season. Yeh was a bit gutting check out my goalie stats for a laugh. He got a 4 lol and hes 8 plus has very good form! lol I hate the moody perk. As you can probably tell, I've pretty much given up this season. Got no time for N-E or X11 as it is any more..disappointing stuff. Might make this my last season so as not to watch Dysonism F.C plummet to the bottom league. That said I don't think I could bear to lose my team..Hmm! ._. No don't leave! You are an old school player! You can set tactics in advance for matches so just do that then if you have a chance refine it.
Twozzok Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 You guys boozing yet? Gutted I had to leave, wish I could've stayed for another night but I have to work tomorrow unfortunately. My phone run out of battery so no internets yesterday evening. But yeah we had started, and it was good. The club was alright aswell. funtimes. What time did you keave on yesterday? I remember you were at the cafe but after that my memory blurs </offtopic> In other news, I had a failed Dirty Tricks come my way.

I did say to everyone I was going and you were in the room.
Twozzok Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Yeah, I remembered you leaving, just not when :v
jayseven Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I... Yes. Not happy with that. A ridiculous result, really. Promotion would be a proper struggle to attain this season so it looks like I'm in the mid-world for the long run! My other team won, thus earning me guarenteed promotion (unless I lose 6-0 to the team in bottom place in my last game) which will make for double the stress in the future weeks...
DuD Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I forgot to set my tactics for my cup match, but luckily my default settings were bang on I'm now through to the 2nd round after turning a 3-1 away loss into a 5-3 aggregate win. Huzzah My whole teams form shot straight up aswell thats now two superior teams they've turned over in a few days.
Haden Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 The awards for the two games I missed as promised! Player of the Day: Haden United, Gualtier Agostini, 2 goals and a set up played tremendous football. 01/12 Analysis Most Important Result: The 64s 1-4 Dysonism F.C, Dysonism strike back and prove they can still cause a shock after it looked like the 64s were back to their best. Player of the Day: Colin Jeeves, Madpool, gave Madpool a solid defense as they earned a much needed win against the Elites. 27/11 Analysis Most Important Result: Noodle Esporte Clube 1-2 AFC Rez Rabies, a great away win for Rabies who are looking like promotion favorites. Turned on the Style Award: Discount Viagra, 4 goals gave Viagra a huge boost up the league. Player of the Day: Nikie Flood, Discount Viagra, scored a hat trick in Viagras epic victory to make a name for himself. Back to the real reports! His the top leagues most recent ones. I have the other two leagues ready but will publish tomorrow to save a huge post. Good luck tomorrow to everyone! Secret United 1-0 Madpool Secret United narrowly beat a determined Madpool side. Rafaelinho shot in a well placed MacCalman cross to put United in the lead after 15 minutes. However Madpool with a 5-3-2 formation held high flying United at bay. However their attack especially Naranjo really let their manager down and failed to make the most of the 7 chances they had to score against United. United suffered a blow as MacCalman flew in with two stupid tackles and was sent off. However United held out for a vital win to position themselves as strong title contenders. Madpool by no means shamed themselves but will need to work on their attack. Haden United 1-2 The Sixty Fourthers United suffered their first defeat in an interesting tactical affair with the 64s. The 64s playing 5-4-1 looked solid at the back and made the most of chances they had as Gobady struck twice before half time, once from a shot from a corner and a second as he broke away from a sluggish United defense. The United keeper was badly at fault in both goals. United scored just before the half ended as their midfield combined when Calcone crossed a ball into Dinsdale to head in. United failed to create any more chances though and the 64s gained a vital away victory that tightens up the title race significantly. Dysonism F.C 1-1 Roostophe Rovers Dysonism looked to avenge their double defeat from Rovers last season but got off to a very bad start. Brobeck their star defender was stretchered off after a horrendous clash with his goalie on the 15 minute mark. However Rovers also suffered two injuries and the game seemed to take a while going with no chances at all in the 1st half. Mazzoleni proved his worth as he broke the deadlock by hitting in a screamer from just outside the box. Rovers seemed visibly relieved as they looked to pick up their 2nd victory of the season. However Dysonism had a sting in the tail as Boland found a way past the Rovers defense and sprinted towards the goal slotting it past the Rovers keeper. The home crowd went wild and a draw was secured. Rovers and Dysonism now surprisingly both have the same amount of points both just 2 above the relegation zone both teams hoping to climb up the table. Essex Elites 3-0 Happenstance FC The Elites kept their incredible push for the top tier positions going with a convincing 3-0 victory over Happenstance FC. Playing 4-3-3 the Elites were after the win and scored 3 before the 1st half to make it a easy one. Canham scored his 20th and 21st goals for the club with two close range shots that flew past the Happenstance goalie. Ling converted a penalty as the Happenstance defense while performing quite well failed to measure up to the sheer determination of the Elites offense. Happenstance stay in the relegation zone but are the side that many bet to escape it if they can score some big name wins. As for the Elites they seemed the most vulnerable of the old sides left in the league but are thriving as they are now merely 1 point from the top of the league! Analysis Most Important Result: Haden United 1-2 The 64s, awesome result for the 64s puts new life into the title race. Turned on the Style Award: Essex Elites, nice high scoring win to put them within a point of the top. Player of the Day: Alan Gobady, The 64s, two classy goals to give his side a fantastic win.
jayseven Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 "His" instead of "Here's" prevents me from possibly thanking that post :P
DuD Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I've just sold on my first ever purchase He's been quite a problem to keep in form, and has never played above his potential, usualy performing below. So after yet another sub par performance on Friday i put him up for sale, cashing in to a 4,000,000 econ profit. I still feel as though maybe i shouldn't have though Still: One less youth to get experience, and one less player to train.
Brian Mcoy Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I've just sold on my first ever purchase He's been quite a problem to keep in form, and has never played above his potential, usualy performing below. So after yet another sub par performance on Friday i put him up for sale, cashing in to a 4,000,000 econ profit. I still feel as though maybe i shouldn't have though Still: One less youth to get experience, and one less player to train. Mcoy notices you've got two 5 skills 19 year olds to replace him. Mcoy thinks you're probably well off with the econ profit.
Cube Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I need a bit of advice. I'm having trouble finding enough money to keep my team in good form. I need to sell a player, but I don't know who. All I know is that it can't be any of the older players (as the average age would be too low). Any tips?
Mr_Odwin Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Taufik Mulyani - You don't have average age issues in defense. Maxwell Dunwell - Too close in age to Theo Woozley (Replace with an 17/18 4) Jeffrey Norcott - Too close in age to Paddy Gould. Goal Instincts will bring the econ flowing in. All possibilities. Your team is a mess btw.
