They have solved absolutely none of the previous design's issues, it's still cramped, and now things are even harder to find! It has a couple of nice new features, like match experience on hover, but that could simply have been implemented on the old design. It's wider, which it needed to be, but actually it's not, because all that extra width is given over to a massive google ads column. A redesign failure tbh. Still feels like a website from 2002. Yeah its awful. The actual interface for tactics etc is exactly the same as before. It just now has another menu above it as well as the normal one. I'm sticking with the old one for the timebeing. jay, did the agent lie to you for your 19 5 defender? 2.7 mil seems to be a lot for a 19 5... I wouldn't have thought so. 1754119 is the average price of a 19 5 defender. He has two visible skills (even though goal instincts is largely a waste for a defender) so the price gets well bumped up. Any hidden skills jay? My favourite skill is hidden, the training cone, and I'd pay well over the odds for a player that I wanted that had that. Goal instincts, quicker than most... and moody It was the only 19 5 to come up on my deadline search, and I put in 3m as my top bid not thinking it'd get as high as it did! Not going to be a good season, this... I never have any luck buying or selling players. Eddage got a similarly rated player for a quarter of the price so I just suck at the transfer market! In my xpert team I have 10m to play with, which is a bit nicer. Got some great youth with good skill that I'll build up and sell in a few years, but may invest in a 24 9 player for around 6m... DuD Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 I've got a moody 6 skilled midfielder in my Master League team, and he consistently plays at a 10 when he has good form... when he's got shit form though he plays at like 2/3 skill. So it ain't too bad a skill to have. That being said, I don't know if i'd like a defender to have it; if he has a bad game it could really fuck you over..? Several other teams played stylish football showing why this is the top division. Happenstance F.C 4 Haden United 3 The Sixty Fourthers 2 Dysonism F.C 2 Madpool 2 Secret United 1 Essex Elites 1 Roostophe Rovers 1 Winners of the best player of the day award: This is an award that only 5 teams got given over the course of the season. The team ethic in the 64s and Madpool was great but the real stars were at the Elites (just like last season) and Happenstance. Phingphaew was a revelation for Happenstance, the top goal scorer by 5 goals! With at least two hat tricks to his name. For the Elites it was a team effort with Ling being a great asset with 4 goals and 6 assists. Odwinica's 4-0 demolition of the Blades was a sight to behold as his strategy was precise and devestating. However they were also on the end of some great play to. The Baggies did not have the best season but their 3-2 away win against Odwinica was full of wonderful play and they deserve to be among the joint winners. DuDs Baggies 3 Battlestar Odwinica 3 Emo Blades 2 Noodle Esporte Clube 2 Mcoys Sons 2 Cubic County 2 Edd Kirby Athletic 1 Winner of the best player of the day award: All the teams had players that stamped their authority onto the player of the day award. From the Sons youths to Rabies attack force every team had players deserving. It was the Blades who had a range of players who wanted to help their team who in the end had a good but not great season. Zeca was dissapointing but showed his potential with a magnificent hat trick against Athletic. Piechnik and Agirre in midfield worked hard for the Blades and whlie they didn't set the world alight had some assists at important times to offer. However Jaffa Munchers came through. After a great 4-1 opening win against Viagra their form suffered a bit. However Munchers bounced back with huge 3 plus goal wins against several teams. They scored 5 more goals than any other team in the league. Jaffa Munchers 5 Soap Box Utd 4 Recall United 3 Eights United 2 Discount Viagra 1 Dudezz 1 Domstercool 1 Winner of the best player of the day award: The top 4 teams had players that are bursting to prove themselves in higher leagues. It was Recall United though who had some of the best players this season. Hollingdale is a natural talent and many say the best at the club, he has helped United in midfield. Whiteside is a great up and coming talent in defense and to add to this McCartney had an incredible season scoring 10 goals in 10 matches.
