ReZourceman Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Second best phone ever ; Best phone ever in the whole entire world, anyone who disagress hasn't had one and is a paedophile terrorist.
Happenstance Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Apparently the first phone my dad had, one of the very early ones the battery actually burnt and almost melted to his hand while he was using it. Most likely one of those on the list but I couldnt tell you which one. My first phone was a Phillips if I remember right. I did break my phone once though in college and have to take the Nokia HD720 (I think). Its under 1993 on that list.
Kirkatronics Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 The Savvy by any chance? Was my first mobile. In retrospect a rediculously tiny screen. I had one of those, i was on BT Celnet =] Was my second ever phone. My first one was a motorola one, cant remember the model. Found it in a carpark =]
Happenstance Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Oops, I was wrong. My first phone was a Panasonic and not a Phillips. Here we go:
Kirkatronics Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 My first phone: Mine was similer, but not quite that model.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 My first phone is on that list, the Nokia 3100: This really brings back memories. It's also the only phone whose name I have been able to remember. I tried switching to a Samsung phone once, but I really didn't like it, so I switched back. I'm a Nokia guy till the end, I guess.
Sheikah Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 My first phone was this, the Ericcson T10: ...although mine was in black. I used to call it the brick. =D
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Which Samsung you get? Don't remember exactly, though it looked something like this:
EEVILMURRAY Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 My current phone looks like that [D600E] with a pr0 Ganondorf background.
Ten10 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Yeah I love my D600E, I mean sure its old by today's standard, but it has never let me down like some of my other mobi's in the past. And even though its tech is dated it still outclass some of the crap that is released onto the market.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Well, I'm not saying anything bad about Samsung phones*, just that I couldn't adjust to it after having had Nokia phones for so long. *Except that you're stuck with the pre-made text message ring tones. Just what the feck?!
Supergrunch Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 *Except that you're stuck with the pre-made text message ring tones. Just what the feck?! You aren't, not on my J700 anyway. Just press sideways on the text melody selection screen and you can go to sound clips you've downloaded to the phone and recordings and so on.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 You aren't, not on my J700 anyway. Just press sideways on the text melody selection screen and you can go to sound clips you've downloaded to the phone and recordings and so on. I'm pretty sure I tried everything on the model I had. Besides, that wasn't the main factor, that one being that I simply prefer the Nokia model.
Strider Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 This was my first phone, everyone had Nokia 3310's, but i couldn't afford one. Alcatel one touch. My second phone was a Nokia though, 3510i. Polyphonic ringtones and everything.
MoogleViper Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 My first 3 phones were cast offs. First was an Ericcson before they merged with sony. It was Black with a purple front. Got it off of my dad who got it from some guy at work. If anyone can find a picture of it I will be impressed and will offer any sexual service they desire at the meet up. Had it on 121. Second was a Nokia 5120. Got it off of my sister. Was on Orange. Then I had a Motorola V2288e off of my brother. On Orange. Then the first phone I had from new was a Siemens A55. On Orange. Then I had an O2 X2 on O2. My first camera phone. Now I have a Samsung D900i also on O2.
