Emasher Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 They seem to specialize in racing games. Nintendo have 3 Major Racing franchises and he said Nintendo is getting them to work on a project. They've already Made an "Excite" game. Mario Kart just came out for the Wii. F-Zero is really all thats left.
Dante Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 It would be a shame if Sega dont have a hand in the new F-Zero game.
Hero-of-Time Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 It would be a shame if Sega dont have a hand in the new F-Zero game. Agreed. F-Zero on the Cube is godly!
Tellyn Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Who's to say it's a racing game? Monolith specialised in RPGs until Disaster: Day of Crisis.
Emasher Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Who's to say it's a racing game? Monolith specialised in RPGs until Disaster: Day of Crisis. Thats true. But there's still a good chance its a racer.
david.dakota Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I'm sure this'll be ExciteTruck 2, which is no bad thing. A few more courses, online racers, leaderboards etc, and they're on to a winner. Or, more likely, repackage NES ExciteBike, add rolling log effect and job done.
Tellyn Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Or, more likely, repackage NES ExciteBike, add rolling log effect and job done. It was getting old a while ago, give it a rest.
Hero-of-Time Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I got up early today to head off to the Metro Centre and pop into GAME to see if I could find the games I was after ( see previous page ) and I did. I then came home to find that Play.com had delivered my games I ordered in the middle of the week. Now all of these purchases have got me thinking, did I go a little OTT with my Wii purchases?
lostmario Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Geez, you must have money to burn... How much did all that set you back?
Tellyn Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Damn it, Sam & Max is out?!?! Nice little collection of purchases there, Adam, I wish I had as much money as you.

And I thought my CoDWaW, Wii Music and Guitar Hero Band Kit was excessive in one day Great variety of games there too! Good choices, a few suspicious entries but looking forward to hearing your thoughts! PS How exciting is it getting loads of games, especially packages from the internet!
darksnowman Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Lots of buys there, H-o-T, nice one! I was up the town too but "only" came home with two games- Monster Lab and Boom Blox from the two for £30 range.
Hero-of-Time Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Geez, you must have money to burn... How much did all that set you back? Just over £100 as I had a good amount on my GAME card and some vouchers PS How exciting is it getting loads of games, especially packages from the internet! VERY! Lots of buys there, H-o-T, nice one! I was up the town too but "only" came home with two games- Monster Lab and Boom Blox from the two for £30 range. Im glad someone else picked up Monster Lab! When I get around to playing on it we will be able to trade parts! Wait, the Wii is online, isnt it?
Dante Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 As co-director of a game that many consider the greatest of all time, you'd think Eiji Aonuma would be content to put his feet up and soak up the praise. It's what we would do, but that's probably why we'll never create anything as awe-inspiring as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Speaking to Nintendo Power about his past work on most of the Zeldas since Ocarina of Time, Aonuma insists that he can't stop making the games, because he's yet to beat what he achieved with Ocarina. "I'm happy that a title I worked on some time ago remains highly praised to this day," he says, "but that also shows how none of the subsequent games in the series have surpassed it." He adds that this alone may be what motivates him to make more Zelda and keep putting more happy in our heads. A revealing insight into the perfectionist mindset of a top game designer! nintendowiifanboy.com
dazzybee Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I want to get a wireless keyboard for the Wii. Does anyone know the cheapest and best one to use? Anyone know what this one's like - http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/6614942/Logitech-Cordless-Keyboard-for-Wii/Product.html
Guest Maase Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 DAMNIIIIIIIIT My wish-list is the following (The upper it is, the more i want it, the downer it is, the less i want it, even though i still wish it, obviously). -The Conduit -MadWorld -Fatal Frame 4 -Fire Emblem -Resident Evil 4 -Monster Lab. I can't believe i was complaining about the lack of games of Wii some months ago, i don't even have the money to buy half of what i desire :'( I better receive a lot of money for christmas, otherwise i will never be able to buy this games in 2009
darksnowman Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I can't believe i was complaining about the lack of games of Wii some months ago, i don't even have the money to buy half of what i desire :'( More like days... hours... minutes ago. Its good to see you are feeling more optimistic about the Wii line up though, long may it continue!
Hellfire Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Awesome buys HoT. Shame there are hardly any good deals here in Portugal
Guest Maase Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 True, Hellfire. Shipping from U.S.A comes cheaper than the "Christmas deals" we have here. (Exagerating a little, but they are still bad deals ) darksnowman, i only complained about Nintendo LineUp some months ago, at E3 (it was some months ago, right?) The other things against Nintendo in which i complain have nothing to do with the LineUp (Super Mario Galaxy because of the disappointment, and that Nintendo is worse than XBOX360 in some camps, which doesn't matter anyways, as i only have the money to buy the best games of the Wii, and the best games of each console, Nintendo Wii exceeds XBOX360)
Ganepark32 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 This is an interesting article on a possible reboot of Luigi's Mansion on the Wii. Some interesting ideas, especially the ones for possible online coop. http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/934/934078p1.html

Anyone know what this one's like - http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/6614942/Logitech-Cordless-Keyboard-for-Wii/Product.html What games are compatible with this? Back in the day, I found the Dreamcast keyboard most useful for PSO when organising teams in the lobby and calling for help in battle. Has anything been confirmed regarding wii speak or keyboard compatibility for Monster Hunter 3?
Tellyn Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 What games are compatible with this? Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City, and then most Wii Channels and the Wii Menu.
Emasher Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 The internet channel is the big one. Its not really worth it for anything else.

Has anything been confirmed regarding wii speak or keyboard compatibility for Monster Hunter 3? To be honest I mainly want it for writing WiiBoard messages!!! Internet would be good too, and maybe some ANimal Crossing when I don't want my house to hear what I'm saying - namely when I'm defying iwata and coming onto kids!!
