gaggle64 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 A disappointingly spotty performance against Roostophe I must say, but things still generally looking on the up.
EEVILMURRAY Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 A commanding Party at Richters pimpsmacking Drunk Cripples of 6 - 0. If you attend a Party at Richters, you need to handle your booze.
Roostophe Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 A routine 3-0 win for the Rooster here. w00t, four players and manager in the Xpert11. Result.
ReZourceman Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 2-2....against Dyson.... WTF. o___________________0
Cube Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 OMG! FINALLY! Oh ****! My main player has been injured. He's only been fit for two games this season.
Haden Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 ffs had to have hitler himself as the ref in my match with happenstance
Happenstance Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Good result against Haden I guess, I thought I was going to lose. Massive match against Oddy next though for me
Haden Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Good result against Haden I guess, I thought I was going to lose. Massive match against Oddy next though for me Please cripple as many of his players as poss for me! lol
gaggle64 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Oh bloody hell, that was honestly the worst performance the team's ever had. I literally have no idea how or why they put in such a tragically bad effort. Should have been a relatively easy win, this is just embarrassing. =(
Paj! Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I got an e-mail asking where I was, and that I should either actually do something/log in for once, or quit. I'd just prefer to quit. I have no idea what's going on really, nor am I that interested (if I'm honest). I assume it won't disrupt anything? (If it would, just leave me on the squad or whatever)
Roostophe Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 If you 'quit', then you lose access to your squad and your team becomes the league's whipping boys. Then the team gets deleted at season's end. Disrupting the balance of the leagues unless some new peep takes yer place. Reason to dislike Paj No. 21: Didn't bother playing Xpert11. Let that be the last one on the list, pls.

Can I see the full list? I've not touched my team in about a month, aren't they the whipping boys anyway? Or can they "fend for themselves"? I have no idea. I'll just leave it.
Roostophe Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 No, you can't see the list. I don't want to see you cry. Yes, your team is already pretty much 'whipping boys', because of your tardiness. But it makes the league less competitive because the other teams can take it easy against your team and still win. That very reason was why I won the Lower League back in Season 5 so easily. It was only me and mike-zim at the end of that one. 2 out of 11. Rubbish!
Happenstance Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I really hope we get to the point one day where we have 2 leagues of players actually playing. It will make things a lot more interesting and the lower league not just the place to go to train up your team and make some money winning it. Even better would be to get more than 2 leagues!
Roostophe Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 At the moment, though, if we want a third division: We'd need at least 13 more members to join up at the end of this season, as we can't have league divisions in different sizes in one season.
Charlie Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Boy do I regret my choice to not play dirty, that secret united are a dirty bunch of Sods. Hehe. Another good win for me, 4-1 away to.... someone. My first away win in a while which was nice.
jayseven Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I was expecting to lose heavily, so only hving a 1-0 loss to Oddy was quite comforting I had no money to reward my players with, so they played well amongst themselves. Still; in the relegation zone! My next four matches are against gaggle and moogle - a good run will stamp them down and raise me up, so there's still hope. Paj; every season people stop playing and quit without saying a word, so it's nice of you to at least say that you're losing interest. You gave it a decent try for the first few matches, and actually did quite well. The lower league is mostly full of new players so it was always going to be down to those who set their tactics most, really. If you're not feeling it then don't worry too much.
Happenstance Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Unfortunately not a shocking loss for me against Oddy but at least I held out for quite a while
ReZourceman Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 0-0. Well its not a loss, I guess. Although Jay has leap frogged me, thrusting me into the loser-zone.
Happenstance Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 0-0. Well its not a loss, I guess. Although Jay has leap frogged me, thrusting me into the loser-zone. You really have a knack for drawing against the bigger teams in this league!
ReZourceman Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Heh heh. Think I have a knack for drawing in general.
Happenstance Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I think my problem was I decided to go more defensive than usual against Oddy. Could possibly have knicked a goal if id had another striker on.
Cube Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Darn. I was expecting a close match. Hopefully I do better against ReZ. But Jesus.....check out Niall Helleday. Also note that he was lightly injured when he played.
