MoogleViper Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I was hoping to make this a sort of surprise-santa type thing, where nobody knows who they're receiving something from, but that would require you all to trust me with your addresses, then trust a random stranger with your address too... I'd be willing to do that. I think it would make it more fun. As then you would have absolutely no idea what you were getting. And I reckon a few people would be like, "Aww I've got MoogleViper's, he's a rate cock I'm not gonna like his CD." This way people would be more open minded. Plus it would be a nice surprise.
Bren Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Yeh surprise senders would be better, we should all agree to listen to the whole cd right now, iv got a feelin mines not gonna be liked
Strider Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Yeh surprise senders would be better, we should all agree to listen to the whole cd right now, iv got a feelin mines not gonna be liked Yeah same here. I've thrown in really random songs with about 6 different genres of music. Although i could guarantee that at least one song would be liked.
Bren Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 It should be good to listen to a cd of music that your not really into, you might find a few diamonds in the rough, but i can imagine some people will listen to 30 seconds of a song and shun it off
MoogleViper Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 It should be good to listen to a cd of music that your not really into, you might find a few diamonds in the rough, but i can imagine some people will listen to 30 seconds of a song and shun it off I agree. There's no point agreeing to do this if you aren't going to be open minded and aren't willing to give the cd a fair chance.
Twozzok Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I'm in if sign-ups are still open. I have a decent intro and ending, and a few ideas for the middle, but i can't seem to get it to flow properly
Caris Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I really think who ever gets mine will like it. That's not sarcasm either, i feel it's a real good CD. EDIT: Mine is done, all I'm saying is whoever gets mine track 3 will rock your world.
Noodleman Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Definatley should be unknown sender, makes it all the more exciting. Besides i'm only in the country for 2 more months i'm pretty sure thats not enough time for a potential stalker to make a suit out of my skin.
Letty Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Ive started making the cover and CD case today This is gonna be AWESOME!! I'm actually jealous of whoever gets mine.
EEVILMURRAY Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I made a collection of my choice cuts, around 50-60 tracks equalling 300ish mins of playage. I've begun the culling process, deleting the most popular ones.
weeyellowbloke Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 What could anyone do with an address, other than track the person down and set fire to their house, but that seems like a lot of effort. Anyway mines only a scummy rented house, which I'll only be living in for another two months I wouldn't really care that much if one of you crazy foo's actually did burn it down. Right I have some ideas down and blank cd ready to rock.
Dante Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 WE SHOULD?! I think we should but i am listening to Jay7 radio right now.
blender Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I've called the police and they should be knocking on your door any minute now
Dante Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 You should be fucking ashamed of yourself. Ashamed of what?

Olympic Gamer Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Are there rules in place or am I free to use any song from my astounding collection?
MoogleViper Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Are there rules in place or am I free to use any song from my astounding collection? I believe it's real songs only. So no computer game songs or TV show songs.
Olympic Gamer Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I believe it's real songs only. So no computer game songs or TV show songs. Nanii?? This is a video game board right? Pah, oh well.
EEVILMURRAY Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Nanii?? This is a video game board right? Pah, oh well. Yes. It's a website dedicated to the news of European Nintendo shizzle. So music from Nintendo games specifically from Europe is only allowed. I sense many albums filled with Perfect Dark ch00ns or something.
Noodleman Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Chaps I just had to drop Raspberry Beret, that's how awesome it's currently looking.
D-Day Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Yeah same here. I've thrown in really random songs with about 6 different genres of music. Although i could guarantee that at least one song would be liked. So I'm not the only one planning to really stretch genres!! Well I wasn't sure about this, only because it'd be kind of sad if someone just discarded your CD... which I reckon could happen with mine, but what the heck, I'm in (if it's not too late) I already know the song I'm going to start with and end with, now to fill in the middle and make it flow.
Olympic Gamer Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Okay one more thing before I start preparing this. Are game/TV show songs allowed if they were released as a single atleast?
