Been playing it for like 2 hours and I must say, I am very impressed, I didn't really pay much attention to this game, but it was from Platinum so I thought it had to be good.

 

And...IT ROCKS!!! :D The cinematic are a bit corny, but eh, at least it's trying too, unlike many other games which try to be dead serious but in the end fail and will always be laughed at.

 

Although the cutscene's in some area's are very :hmm: still image cinematic's suck, Red Steel proved that. But yeah...gameplay is perfect, loving it and I look forward to more of it :D

 

*Side Note*

It pisses me off how all the difficulty isn't just right there for you to have at the start, playing it over and over again just to get the hardest difficulty is cruel and it shouldn't be really allowed >_<

Woop! :grin:

 

I bought this yesterday as soon as I got into Wales :yay: I wasn't planning on getting this at all but then I got this massive urge for it so I had to have it.

 

Been playing it non stop practically. I had to prise the controller out of my hands to go to sleep! While I was revising this morning I was craving to play it. .

 

So I shall again in a minute after lunch.

 

It is so awesome. :D I'm on chapter 6 and I've not had this much fun with a game in ages!

Go through Bayonetta first! :grin: The whole thing flows together nicely and you won't be able to put it down. Keep going while you have the drive!

 

I AM PUMPED. (and slightly cold, brrr.)

 

I'm having the same problem but not with Darksiders I didn't realise Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2 were coming out so close to each other until the other day!

 

and now Darksiders has me interested! :D Gah! >___<

Yeah, just might do that.

Haha, I laughed so hard when I heard that. Nerdy joy welled up inside me!

 

I'll get Darksiders when it is cheaper. :P or rent it. I've only got enough money to buy one more game! :o

 

So...

 

I completed the game last night. :yay:WOOO!

 

Just when I thought it was losing its sexiness it reeled it back in! It gets mentally epic by the end. :grin:

 

That was on easy though so there is much more to do. :)

I gave in and bought it yesterday, and curse my bottom for not buying it earlier! This game is great, and beats Devil May Cry IMO. The action is unrelenting, the game suitably selfaware and it's just damn funny.

 

As said before , I got the PS3-version, and yes, the technical issues are there (longer loading times, lower framerate, occasionaly some sound desynchronisation during cutscenes, some blurry textures), but it remain one awesome game. It doesn't hamper the gameplay or the sheer sillyness of the game. It's not half as bad as some sites want to make you believe.

 

And it truely is a great excercise to find all the references to movies and games. RE4, Viewtiful Joe, Madworld, Terminator, Out Run, Virtua Fighter, Devil May Cry, Assassins Creed, Sonic... The list goed on.

Not got mine yet. Probably for the best as I've only just completed Assassins Creed 2 and I still have Darksiders to play.

I got annoyed at the lack of Bayonetta and went and bought Darksiders. Ah good ol' reliable tangible-copy-in-high-street-store. You'll never let me down.

 

Now Bayonetta will just have to wait.

 

Fuck it, it arrived today and that 10/10 from EDGE sticker on the front won't let me not play.

Finished the game, started on normal (Wanted to go higher but not allowed too) Fucking loved it :D

 

It started to get a bit dull halfway through it, but the last 3 levels were amazing...so worth going through it all and the ending...you just have to smile at it.

 

I would have given this game a 7/10 but now, because of how it ended and the final levels...

8/10

 

Everyone should play it, it's too good not too :D
