killthenet Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Episode 4 was certainly the best of the season, but it was still fairly mediocore. I think South Park has finally out stayed its welcome. It's never jumped the shark, it was just always consitently brilliant, but after 4 weak episodes in a row its clear that they've run out of things to say. Hopefully they'll improve in November when the elections roll around proper, but it's really missing the true, hilarious satire that it used to have.
Happenstance Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Well new South Park aired last night, pretty good id say....disturbing in places though :p
martinist Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 downloading it now, looks like theres going to be some major China-bashing.
Zell Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Nice, been waiting far too long for the second lot of episodes! *downloads*
Shino Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 That was... a bit too much. Reminds me of the Britney Spears episode, where I didn't know if I should be laughing or depressed.

I agree with you there. I'm not sure what to think. It was good but somethings went a bit too far. It was essentially the same Joke just dragged out over 3 different dreams. I wish the Chinese thing went somewhere as well. Though butters was still funny.

Last time i thought that they bought out that Imaginationland 3 parter which was amazing. Even when an episode kind of sucks im still rather amazed what they can make in just one week!
Dan_Dare Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I thought the spears episode was a black comedy masterpiece myself. It was incredible.
Chris the great Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I thought the spears episode was a black comedy masterpiece myself. It was incredible. made me laugh. when she appears, no top of her head, it was so wrong that it made me cringe, but in a good way.
Dan_Dare Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 It was weird to watch- it's so, so dark but at the same time it's some of the best satire about the tabloid media I've ever seen. It was very, very good.
martinist Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Lucas and Spielberg want Indy rape to go away
somme Posted October 11, 2008 Author Posted October 11, 2008 I thought it was good, and comedy that goes too far is always good.
Solo Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 South Park hits us with another multi-part epic. It's worth it for the Cloverfield reference alone! If anyone missed them they can be viewed here. http://www.southparkzone.com/season-sid-12.htm
