Hero-of-Time Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 It looks like either Dead Space 1 or 2 is going to be our free game this month.
dazzybee Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Hmmm. I've decided I'm not going to buy any more ps3 games. PS+ is way more than enough to cover my gaming needs... Sick of buying games and then getting to play them for free anyway!
Sheikah Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Does anyone know if I can change my DNS settings to make my UK PS3 think I'm still in the UK when I move to Canada? I want it so I can still use the amazing BBC app for Olympics. If someone could tell me UK DNS settings that would be awesome as my PS3 is now all packed up. Here is a very good guide: link NB you will need to pay for a VPN service (e.g. Hidemyass) which are usually a few dollars a month as a decent VPN costs money. Don't bother with any free ones.

flameboy Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Better late than never I suppose! Yes! Cos of the anniversary lots of podcast been talkibg bout the series no better to replay! Also they added ability to properly install rather than before every chapter!
LegoMan1031 Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 (edited) So my PS3 has stopped reading blu ray films but still reads DVDs and PS3 games. Just tried a file restore which didn't fix it. Is my PS3 fat screwed? I have tried a few different things and once or twice a blu ray film has worked and other times it doesn't. :/ SOLVED After trying everything possible I have worked out what is the problem... my Casino Royale bly ray! That would never load and I tried it round @Aneres11 house and it wouldn't work there either. Also what had me confused and thinking was the console was other films were not working... HOWEVER the other films were not working because whatever blu ray I put in after Casino Royale failed to load would not load either! But any other time would load fine. My Casino Royale used to work (it's the first edition of it when it first come out) but now, for whatever reason if fucked. And no scratches, cracks or marks on the disc either. Rowan Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Late to the party but inFamous is complete on the Hero run along with all the missions dead drops, shards, stunts and hero powers. Awesome game. Will do a run of Uncharted 3 on hard before getting the sequel and the evil run. Chances are Infamous will be my first platinum

Retro_Link Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Trying to re-watch the Olympics Opening Ceremony on the PS3... the only place left to so this is the bbc.co.uk website itself as it's no longer on the iPlayer/BBC Sports App. But it says 'you do not have the latest version of this software' where the video should be, and it doesn't seem you can update it... Is there any way to update the PS3 so you can stream website videos?

Cube Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Is there any way to transfer data from one HDD to another, or do I have to cloud sync the game saves and download all the games and patches again?
flameboy Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) Is there any way to transfer data from one HDD to another, or do I have to cloud sync the game saves and download all the games and patches again? You can back up to external USB HDD or transfer data between two seperate ps3s. Alternatively you could just copy saves yo USB stick i think they just patched do you dont have you dont have to do one at à time as previously! Edited August 10, 2012 by flameboy
