Sanchez Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 I think selling your wii is a good idea if you have no friends.
Bren Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Because this is a Nintendo forum? i dont own one nintendo product
Bluejay Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I think selling your wii is a good idea if you have no friends. Letty is going to need a towel because she just got rinsed. But really, no games at the moment. I was tempted to sell mine and re-buy when SSBB, Galaxy, Metroid, No More Heroes etc come out. Some good stuff coming, but the coming part is important. Not much doing right now. I couldn't go through with it btw. Still got my Wii. i dont own one nintendo product You should get a DS. DS Lite is excellent. Huge library of titles. The rest you can give a miss but DS is the console/handheld to get.
Charlie Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I had a DS and got bored of it. I couldn't stand the touch-screen only games, they hurt my hands, and as all the 'good' games need to the touch-screen I sold it.

I couldn't stand the touch-screen only games, they hurt my hands, and as all the 'good' games need to the touch-screen I sold it. No way! Lots of the best games don't use the touch screen. Thats why the DS is better than Wii. DS devs have learned to only use the consoles features where they are suitable, hence why (Metroid uses touch screen as it is an FPS, Mario Kart doesn't because touch screen driving wouldn't work.) With Wii games at the moment, devs throw in motion controls even when they are game breaking simply becuase they think that people won't buy a game that only uses the classic controller or that they need to use the consoles features. Also DS = Best puzzle game system ever. Meteos, Tetris, Planet Puzzle League, Puzzle Quest etc are all made of win and use touch screen excellently when needed. PS. Moria do you/ did you have/ like a Wii? That bolded statement is very wrong. All of the following are good non touch screen games. Mario Kart New Super Mario Bros Pokemans Tetris Tony Hawks Metroid Pinball Sonic Rush Castlevanias Phoenix Wright (optional) In fairness, those are all sequals of sorts to non touch screen series but my point about good non touch screen games stands. The point is, devs don't have to use the touch screen if it isn't needed. Some games are improved by Nintendos new control methods, some are not. That is what Wii developers need to learn.
Bluejay Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Tetris DS is amazing. As addictive as it is. I think it should have a mode with infinite spin etc aswell as a classic mode because 200 lines on Tetris DS is not the same as 200 lines on Tetris GB. Good game though. EDIT; Also, thread derailment total 2nd EDIT: You live in a town called Bigton letty. This amuses me greatly.
Marshmellow Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 I sold my DS so I could buy Dead Rising. I don't regret it either.
