Posted February 25, 2007 Fierce, I respect you 100%. You've always been a fair admin/mod, one who's postings I enjoy reading very much. You're completely spot on re: your original post on this topic. Last night was a complete shambles. Morons acting like complete arses. Immature, childish and completely abusive. For a while it was horrible reading what they were going about. As you can imagine being told to f*** off every five seconds by most of them wasn't a pleasant thing. Not one person has apologised for the way they acted. I asked a simple question to retro-lover and then the thread just erupted into a complete mess. As I said, it was a horrible feeling reading some of the stuff people were posting about me... until about half way through I sorta just laughed it off. I completely agree with those banned. I won't miss any of them. If I had my way a few more would be gone as well, but obviously I'm not here to tell you how to do your job. Caris, Retro, McMad, and Takeo (though he hasn't posted here) it's all well and good saying 'I competely agree with you Fierce'... but you lot where guilty of the things Fierce was talking about. I know Dabookerman got banned a while ago,but someone said there was a member called Dabookerman1 on last night,whether or not he took part in this last night I don't know,but someone said it was motion. Things get out of control, people post things such as: A guy tearing his own arsehole open, Softcore Hentai, Lots of Gifs, Hardcore Hentai, Cat Pictures, Gay Hentai, Black guys having gay sex, Beastiality porn. 4. Guy hilariously edited the arse-tearing picture. 5. Demonmike editing Motion's sig, making Link's sword a nob. 6. Shino is right, we didn't want to ruin the forums as we're being accused, we just wanted to have a laugh, maybe some of those laughs originated from vulgar things, but I don't think any of us had the intention to do any harm, well except Dabookerman1. Posted February 25, 2007 I've always rated this forum highly, most of the time there is generally a good atmosphere, the mods are friendly. I dont post loads but i enjoy reading, its not too fanboyistic and posters are generally well informed. I dont think anyone set out the intention of damaging the forum, i think they wanted their cake and to eat it. To them the pics posted were humourous and entertaining, but it was done without the consideration of how most would take it or that this forum is really meant to be 'family friendly', we're not a porn site of any kind. I do agree that as a forum we should be more responsible, limit how far we go with things. If anyone wants to post porn, there's plenty of other sites out there for that. So, usually you have to take other steps, such as banning the accounts, email address, and just being on the lookout for duplicate accounts.
