Paj! Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 It's way more satisfying buying stuff in person, too. Why I never pre-order CD's or DVD's. I'd rather run to HMV/wherever to get it on release day. ------ 3 x tickets to see £73 (Crying, but the point is for other people coming to give me the money)

I find it more satisfying to save the £5 by ordering it online and getting it on the same day if not earler than when it's released in the shop.
Paj! Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I should have said "I find it way more...", cause it's not actually a fact like I stated. It actually makes litle logical sense.
Ashley Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I find it amusing how Courtney Love is clearly cash-strapped again and the fans are eating it up But if you like it c'est la vie ^_^
Paj! Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I find it amusing how Courtney Love is clearly cash-strapped again and the fans are eating it up But if you like it c'est la vie ^_^ Do you know anything about the history of this new album? If anything, it's the first time she actually has the money and support to put the album out. It's been in progress for ages (and I know that's not just cause of lack of support...but it's not like she's done nothing for years then rattled this off in a month).

Yeah but she's constantly okay then poor, has been since 1994 :p I joke really, the crazy life of Courtney Love does amuse me.
Daft Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 My sister bought me this book yesterday. It is full of photos by, and of, Hunter S. Thompson. There's a nice foreword by Johnny Depp and it's a really nice edition. Really happy with it.

ipaul Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 It's cheaper online http://www.simplygames.com/info/16664/The-Chronicles-of-Riddick-Assault-on-Dark-Athena--PS3- Even cheaper on the GAME website, if it was in stock. I'll never understand why people buy games in high street stores.... With very few exceptions (like that time I got MW2 for £25 on release day from Sainsburys) there's almost always a better deal online. I would be waiting a few days for it then though, would have the hassle of the delivery man and don't have the convenience of an impulse buy. Plus as others have said, more satisfying buying in person. I'd rather spend the extra £3 or so, given the positives.
Dyson Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Watched Fear and Loathing last night, shall be watching Where the Buffalo Roam soon. Also, mostly for funnies since it was £3.99:
Shorty Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 It's weird that that's written in the Disney font. my most recent purchase:
ReZourceman Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Is this a poster or a comment aimed at me? If the latter.....prepare for a defensive reply.
Daft Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Is this a poster or a comment aimed at me? If the latter.....prepare for a defensive reply. Take a guess.
Eenuh Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Postsecret FTW. Bought some clothes through post order heh. Fun times not having to go to shops. =P
ReZourceman Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Take a guess. Have you seen Adventureland? I find it hard to believe anyone who has seen it would consider it anything less than "massive whynz"
Paj! Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I've heard it's quite good. But then I've been known to fall for the lies of tricking monkeys in hunting coats.
ReZourceman Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I'd go as far as to say its one of my favourite movies. Like...of the genre. And generally.
Shorty Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 anything less than "massive whynz" That just looks like "whines".
Paj! Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 That just looks like "whines". Exactly what I thought, but didn't quite know how to make that some sort of joke at ReZ's expense.

Pyxis Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 It's weird that that's written in the Disney font. my most recent purchase: Have you installed it yet? I'm thinking about getting this one too.
