Letty Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Nice piece of kit lettehhh! I went on the microsoft website and the pink one looks teh sex. How does it charge? Uses batteries, but its super power efficient, and last about 120 hours (only when they're in use) per 2 batteries!
Wesley Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 What are these things Wesley and Letty are buying? It's a Seagate 320gig portable hard drive, powered by USB. For £60 off eBuyer and comes with a USB dock and case.
Kirkatronics Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 The laser is in the tip of the thicker end, you can just see the black dot thing at the left end. I'm using it just now and its excellent! Its massivley sensitive - and seems to work on all surfaces (obv not glass though) - Im sitting on the sofa using the arm as a surface!! Sounds like you tested it :p
Ashley Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Afaik its just an 'arc slider'. by Microsoft. *googles* Arc Slider is the name for the XPERIA 1 sliding device. But looking at the image file name it appears to be a mouse. Which is what I wished to know. Thanks It's a Seagate 320gig portable hard drive, powered by USB. For £60 off eBuyer and comes with a USB dock and case. Ah coolio, looks awesome
RoadKill Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 What are these things Wesley and Letty are buying? Well I assume the device wesley has is an external HDD, since it has the Seagate logo on it Edit: beaten
Kirkatronics Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 It's a Seagate 320gig portable hard drive, powered by USB. For £60 off eBuyer and comes with a USB dock and case. About a month a go i got a 600GB (Or there abouts, can't find it to check :s) for £69 from Curry's.
Wesley Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 *dies* I was after something around the 500GB mark. But seeing as I'm mostly using it for university work, and it came with a dock and case, I gave in.
Dante Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 get out of mind Wesley. Seagate FreeAgent Go 500GB Portable Hard Drive (Black)
Kirkatronics Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Mine doesn't look as nice though, and requires a power cable. get out of mind Wesley. Seagate FreeAgent Go 500GB Portable Hard Drive (Black) £101 :s Ouch... Seriously, go check in Curry's they may still have it.
nightwolf Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I realised why I never go shopping on boxing day..loads of car parking, but half an hour queues! I'm not very impressed with assassins creed, storyline is weird and so is the movement etc, gah, good job it was cheap!
Wesley Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Mine doesn't look as nice though, and requires a power cable. £101 :s Ouch... Seriously, go check in Curry's they may still have it. But what make was yours? EDIT: Oh you actually say what it's powered by. The reason why the cost may seem crazy for ours is because they're USB powered. If you check out stores like PC world they have adapter powered and USB powered, with a large price difference. You pay more for the convience of USB powered (which is a big convience for when you're going from PC to PC everyday).
Babooo Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Are those sea gate HDD's fast? I'm looking for a portable hard drive, probably around the 200-500GB mark....but I want it to be fast, as in actually transferring stuff to and from it.
Wesley Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 USB 2.0: up to 480 Mb/s according to this review. http://www.thinkcomputers.org/index.php?x=reviews&id=895 But, depends on so many other things within your own computer.
Dante Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Mine doesn't look as nice though, and requires a power cable. £101 :s Ouch... Seriously, go check in Curry's they may still have it. Righto. I go eary tomorrow morning and check.
Paj! Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows (for Wii) £60 total It was xmas money, so I'm over it. These are two main games I want for Wii too, so I'm awesomely happy. Only had a quick go on Brawl, Subspace Emissary is fun! Can't wait to try Spidey.

Ashley Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Was that genuine confusion or the worst joke ever?
Paj! Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Was that genuine confusion or the worst joke ever? I think the latter. Either way, ReZ comes off looking more retarded than before.
