fanman Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I had to buy a bundle with Zelda and two other games, so zelda, call of duty 3 (which I haven't opened yet, gonna sell it or bring it back) and red steel. Was gonna get zelda anyway, but I got the others because there was a limited choice. I then got wii play for the controller.
Slaggis Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 wow..how much did you spend? (p.s i only got mnster 4x4 because it was only 20 quid with gamesation deal) i also have no idea what the wii is like...can't play it for 6 days!!
david.dakota Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I got Zelda, for obvious reasons and Wii Play. Since I had every intention of getting a second controller, it seemed a bargain - £5 extra. The missus and I spend ages playing with eachother on Find Mii, Fishing, Shooting Range, and Laser Hockey.
Kurtle Squad Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I got Wii Play for the Wiimote & cheap multiplayer games (cheap as in price). Zelda was my epic adventure game (and it's Zelda which is one of my top franchises:)) Red Steel was a shooter, and I wasn't expecting brilliant things but it turned out to be pretty good. Monkey Ball was another minigamer. (This has been overshadowed by all the other games though) Then I also got a 2nd nunhuck for the WiiPlay Wiimote.
Kurtle Squad Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I suggested it for it for Christmas, but I didn't get it (I got to open my presents Sunday as I go away Friday). And Wario Ware & Excite Truck have priority over Rayman As do a few DS games
Slaggis Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 yeh i !need! exitetruck....looks awesome
Darth-Marximus Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I bagged: Zelda (ofcourse) Red Steel Call of Duty 3 Want Raving Rabbids (but £34.99 for mini games) - I just don't know, WarioWare is the only Mini-Game brand that has successfully made me pay top dollar for such titles.Mind You then I culd get some multiplayer between Me Vs vader Vs R2.
Guest Stefkov Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 zelda twilight princess: Cos I wanted it. monster truck 4x4: It was part of the bundle, I enjoyed putting together the remote for all the 5 seconds it took. wii play: I wanted the free remote and the shooting and billiards game. red steel: I've always wanted it despite crappy reviews. super monkey ball: Part of the bundle again, however its quite fun in multiplayer, I've yet to fully immerse myself in the main game, i did the first few levels and I was like 'wtf, put zelda in'
triforce_keeper Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Zelda: Obvious reasons Rayman: Looked a fun game Super monkey ball: Loved the cube ones, also multiplayer Wii Play: Wii mote and 9 mini games for £30? Yes please.
Emasher Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 zelda - cuz its zelda rayman - because i had to to pre-order my wii excite truck - same reason as rayman but this one is super fun
KKOB Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Zelda -on account of its awesomeness Wii Play - Wiimote and a few more minigames-worth it for a fiver more. SMB:BB - its monkey ball!!! Rayman - it looked fun and why not eh?! Red Steel - Christmas present and i want something else thats meaty to play when i'm not playing Zelda.
Dolphin Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Wii play for the controller and thats it. Also have mario 64 amd donkey kong country ( snes). But now I'm like. I have no real wii game, so think I'm gonna buy zelda or super monkey ball
c0Zm1c Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Call Of Duty 3, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, Rayman Raving Rabbids, and Red Steel. I went a bit overboard!
The3rdChildren Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I really wanted to try out Downhill Jam, but couldn't see £40 in it.
dazzybee Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Zelda: Best....game....ever COD3: Love FPS and it looked awesome Red Steel: Looked awesome and crossed my fingers the bad reviews were wrong Monster 4x4: £20 Play: Because it was the only way to get another wiimote and it looked my type of distraction and it is Rayman: Love minigames, looked hilarious, my girlfriend really wanted it Monkey Ball: Love monkey ball, multiplayer
solitanze Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 One word for the choices i've made, exclusivity. Any game on the poll thats not 100% Wii exclusive [GC ports such as GT Pro Series and ZELDA: TP excluded as they are still exclusive to Nintendo systems] was not ticked for the poll.
Iun Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Wii Play for the extra remote and multiplayer minigames, and Zelda because it's Zelda, and I'd buy it if the disc was made of hardened camel faeces.
Dimmuxx Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Zelda = awesome Wii Play = Wiimote Rayman = party game with crazy bunnies Red Steel = wanted a fps and wanna support exclusive games Monster 4x4 = got it for free when I bought Red Steel & Rayman
Ollie Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 The missus and I spend ages playing with eachother it's a wonder what these wiimotes can do.
TheCule Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Wii Play and Twilight Princess. No idea why I purhchased the latter, I can't believe the differences compared to Ocarina of Time. I mean, why change the greatest video game ever? If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and most of all, do NOT introduce so many new features! Wii Play is an average product, great value for money though, I must say.
