  1. But that's just it, I could swear that information isn't allowed to third parties in Europe.

Nice. I propose bribery through family.
  3. But how does this know the location? I think you're all over estimating the capabilities of this thing, I don't think its capable of pinpointing exactly, especially in Europe since its illegal for communication companies to give the location of they're clients even to authorities. I understand how it can be worrying for people to be tracked every minute by a major company, even if its google.
  4. You are not being penalised, you just can't get that achievement. The campaigns are not that big either.
  5. Good news fellows, the DLC is free for the PC... AND 360. http://www.destructoid.com/valve-confirms-left-4-dead-dlc-will-be-free-for-both-pc-and-360-121330.phtml
  6. I feel fairly confident that MadWorld, HotD and The Conduit will sell well but I feel sorry for Deadly Creatures. I see the effort and the original concept behind the game but even a bug loving nerd like me doesn't feel hyped for it.
  7. Sales around Europe aren't controlled and only show up reliable pictures when publishers tell us.
  8. If you add the rest of Europe to this, why the hell are treated like lesser consumers?
  9. Of course CAPCOM's PR dude would say something like that to blame this on someone else, he's an asshole for trying to make gamers buy his shitty excuse of a game with guilt. Zack and Wiki would never be a big seller and Dead Rising Wii is a shitty port for quick cash in.
  10. The illusion that hardcore fans backed Nintendo previously was well dissolved this generation, it was just Nintendo fans buying Nintendo products making a little bump in the sales, which were decreasing with each generation. Get over this media created ideal of hardcore games, we've had lots of Nintendo made hardcore games with success, but it again only Nintendo just like previous generations, and it just happened that when everybody else was jumping out of the sinking boat, Wii was a success hit. I'm sure third party games on Nintendo will increase gradually in quality and importance as it can already be seen, devs can't keep (and they aren't anymore) ignoring the market leader.

Before gametrailers and youtube, I would go to IGN everyday and had an IGN insider account. Not any more.
  12. No, lets not face it. Because it ain't.
  13. The Gecko OS works on 3.4?
  14. A bit bellow average then, sad as it is a good game but expected. It was never a game that would reach a million and it was a fast (even if good) response by Capcom to the Wii's success.
  15. Well, that's just the US, hopefully it sold a bit more worldwide.
  16. Haha, to bad all that creativity wasn't used in the logo.
  17. Just another reason why he's the greatest. Also related: DEEERK DUUURRR!
  18. I was fooled at first glance.
  19. Yeah, this one: should say "Nintendo" when it appears.
  20. Ok, just like I expected BootMii needs to be INSTALLED, it does not run automatically from the SD card. Here's the comment from the coder behind this on youtube: It makes sense now, the Wii wouldn't just be reading code from the SD card without any trigger. I suppose the point is to bypass whatever Nintendo throws at us. Nintendo can update all they want and it wont affect the hbc.
  21. I think they confirmed the next one will be more of a game and less of playable artistic satire. NMH did exactly what they wanted it to do, all those game design "flaws" (like pressing a button for 3 minutes to fill cars at the gas station and the ghost town) were intended, but don't help much the product as a game.
  22. But that seems exactly what the BootMii will do.
  23. But you still have to modify part of the firmware to make it read the card right? And what's the Fridge Solution?
  24. So it loads the channel from the SD card or is it already installed?
  25. People that use the "(insert country) Jobs for (insert same country) workers" slogan don't understand that the problem isn't actually with the foreign workers, who were willing to leave their country behind so they could have a better life and support the family back home. If they're a more competitive workers with the same "tools" (minimum wage, rights etc...) the locals have, than tough luck, their doing what they can to have a living in strange environment to them and you shouldn't be accustomed to having a better paying job by default just because you live near the place. The British are a bit worse in this aspect because they include EU citizens in the same bag as people from outside the EU, showing a complete lack of knowledge in the whole concept behind the EU. What people should be complaining is the companies moving their factories and services to countries that don't even have minimum wage and no workers rights, just to make shit for the richer and now jobless countries to buy, making a loophole in the whole economy of western economies. China might be on the up now being the factory of the world, but I want to see what will happen when there's no one with money to buy their products.
