    The good thing about this is that I don't know what to expect so people can't blame me later for it. Those quotes give this project a very high profile feeling and my blind faith in Sakurai tells me it will be great.

    Its not hate towards on-rails, more a felling of cheated once more. When we hear that's a Dead Space game, we see the trailers on the original Xbox, get gradually hyped because it looks great and the original has fun gameplay, see a vid of it looking beautiful on the Wii, it has multiplayer co-op, and then it turns out that the gameplay is simplified to a light gun game and whats left is the name and the horror theme. Sorry if I expect a platformer when I hear Mario or a third person shooter when someone says Death Space.

    I don't understand how you can't be even slightly disappointed by this.

    Great, they turn to the Wii when they want money, what else is new. They Wii allows devs to make games with less TIME, RESOURCES and MONEY without it being a light gun. We're not saying it won't be a GREAT light gun game, but it sure as hell isn't Dead Space.

    The problem is people taking 5 fucking years to make a game everybody thinks they want and in the end the "core" gamer and media poo-poo it. That's one game per generation that quite probably won't sell what it needs.

    Through Dyson's twitter I ended up in dabookerman's twittr. Its the best one I've seen.

    I watched a couple of small clips of it and I can't imagine it to be entertaining for longer than that. History channel for Japanese kids with weird stereotypes (really bad stereotypes). I hope the history classes in Japan are more accurate than what they show here.
