I paid for it but that was only due to not being bothered to dig around for a code, not sure I would have paid for it as a consumer though. Control-wise it's definitely possible to make the software controls work, it just seems that they've failed with it. We put it on an iPad to see if it was any better with a larger area (another annoyance that it's not universal) but still it seems pretty poor.

Just got the iPhone version, it's ok. I just with the controls could get sorted out, it plays as badly as the ports of Sonic 1 and 2 when it should really be quite an easy fix.

Of the blokes I think the only one that seems ok is Jamie, I think he could go far. Not too sure about the girls, a fair few hot ones this year though which is always good.

Almost missed this, I do love the show. I never quite understand how all of the people on here seem to have had such good jobs. They almost always seem inept. I always wonder why they call it the job interview from hell, it genuinely looks like one of the most fun things you could possibly do to me.

I loved Frankie right from the start of S-Club Juniors. So lovely, at least before she cut her hair short. The blonde one is quite nice too. Music-wise I find them pretty cool, I have nothing against totally manufactured pop though.

Not sure if it will be forced to use 3D but it certainly wouldn't ruin any 2D games if that was the case. Games like Mario could just stay 2D in gameplay terms but have scrolling backgrounds actually appear behind the player and various bits popping out at you. I've no doubt at all that something along the lines of New Super Mario will come out and look/play absolutely fantastically sticking to 2D gameplay with 3D graphics. In fact I think things like that will be the best use of the functionality.

A very strange one this, I still can't see how it can possibly be a success. It'll be interesting to see what deals they line up for content though.

Paid for this yesterday and enjoying it a lot so far, I don't think I'll get to play it enough to truly get the most of it but it's a lot of fun. If you guys do set up some sort of NE server I'd definitely like to play too.

Interesting thought there, particularly the 3D stuff. I've been considering getting a 3D monitor when I come to buy one in the next couple of months and I think I'm being swayed as I read more and more opinions. Along with 3DS it actually seems like it's going to be quite good from a gaming point of view.

FIFA 11 is £2.99 at the moment and is a great example of just what the iPhone can manage. I'm very very impressed by it.

Of course the guy that did this totally overreacted and shouldn't have resorted to violence, but it sounds to me like your friend shouldn't have been such a dick to the guy in the first place. You don't know how psycho random people are going to be so why provoke them in such a stupid way?

Well that's certainly annoying, I wish it had popped up somewhere a bit more noticeable that I needed to do that. I'm on PS3, I can play any weekday evenings except for fridays usually.

Hmmm, I have the pit stops set to auto, I assumed they would just give me the appropriate tyres. Are you meant to select what you want then?

Argh my god this game is fricking annoying. Melbourne, qualified on pole, lap 3 I have a comfortable lead and it starts to rain. Stay out and it gets heavier, doesn't seem to be affecting me that much but its my stop so I figure I'll get some more appropriate tyres on. Head in and they put a set of drys on. Morons. I carry on and it doesn't seem to be affecting me, in fact I'm doing faster laps than I managed in qualifying. I carry on, I'm about a minute ahead and have lapped up to 12, all the time the rain gets harder. Lap 11 (of 12) and all of a sudden I can't brake, steer or do anything. Exactly what I'd expect on dry tyres in the rain. I pit with a good lead still. Another set of dry tyres. Stumble around the final lap and end up 3rd. I so want to like this game but things like this are making it impossible.

The thing will do quite well to start with due to the hardcore wanting to give it a try out. After that I don't see much success for this at all. As Retro says people aren't necessarily going to buy a 2nd console to join their Wii and actually I don't think this has that much appeal past the initial launch period. I don't see long term success for this at all.

Depends if you live with them I guess. Personally I can't imagine anything worse than being with someone all the time. In fact I'd do anything I could for them to not work in the same place as me. Luckily it hasn't happened to me, but I've had friends work and live together and every time it's ended up with them splitting up. I'm sure you'll be fine though!

Looks awesome, I absolutely loved this game back in the day. Perfectly balanced so I hope they maintain that while adding a few extra bits too. Took me godamn ages to get golds on all the levels. Was worth it for the on-foot multiplayer though.

Ugh my save file corrupted at the Turkish GP so I've had to start again. I so want to like this but more and more I'm realizing the game is beyond broken. If it was just one issue I could live with it but there are so many obvious bugs and glitches that it's making the game a very annoying experience.

Lots of good stuff from that, I'm actually excited about a video-game related launch again. Something that hasn't happened in a long time for me. I think all the extra connectivity in and around the games is a fantastic thing. Better get our pre-orders in early.

Hopefully they get it out sooner rather than later, the list of oh so obvious bugs and glitches I've noticed is pretty long and I've not even managed to play it that much.

I just don't understand how something like that didn't get picked up, it's massively shoddy work really. What makes it worse is it should be something that's pretty easy to fix, and I hope they do it soon, it's making many of my races come up with insane results.
