For a hell of a lot of extra money though. You're probably better of just buying DVD's now then when you do get a BD player just re-buy the ones you really want.

I think it's fine to spend that much, I think I said before when we had a clothes thread but there is a huge difference between nice good quality stuff and cheap crap. I'm slowly trying to phase out my rubbish and replace with only top quality things. Slowly I'm getting towards having a decent wardrobe. There's a load of Ikea stuff I want at the moment, I'm not sure if I should post it here, make a new thread, or just not bother as I'll buy it anyway in a few days and put it in the purchases thread.

I hate them, London was pretty bad for it but San Francisco is utterly ridiculous. I don't think I've been out once without being asked to hand over some money. Personally I would never give them anything. Doubtless they will use it for some nefarious activities and to be quite honest I pay enough tax for someone else to be dealing with them.

On the above I see absolutely no point getting a BD player unless you have an HDTV. The only exception for me would be if you're buying a PS3 and intend on getting one later. I do have my own question too. What are currently good HDTV's, 32-37 inch for around $500. I've looked on Amazon and Panasonic/Samsungs seem to come in at around that level price, but I have no idea what the best models to go for are. Any recommendations?

Get some pics up so we can see Goafer! Sounds awesome. I'm toying with the idea of buying one of those race seats in a frame for this. The Forza one looks good and is on a special at Amazon at the moment.

Yeah I get the stove thing too, I quite like it actually. Hopefully my computer comes this week and I can get back into playing this. I've missed it over the last few weeks.

I'm scared for when I get back into this now. I've been so used to just messing around and not worrying what would happen that I think this could really mess me up. I have plans for my next build ready, as soon as my computer comes I'll be back on.

A few bits I got in the sales: All from SuperDry. Shirts were $75ish each and the jacket $160. Got $75 off in the sale which is cool as I already wanted them anyway. Wanted to get some bits in Hollister but the queue was ridiculous, 20% of with foursquare there till the end of the month though so I'll just pop in in the week I think.

Today I discovered that the local Vespa dealer also sells Lotus cars, I'll be going there again I think. Thanksgiving meal in a little while, can't wait for that!

I don't move into my new place until wednesday so can get this yet. PS3/Wheel/GT5 is absolutely top of my list for next weekends purchases. Looks great! Anyone bought a Lotus yet?
