  1. I actually quite like Command myself! It's really very underrated! (and the story is utterly hilarious )
  2. WOW! That is a HORRIBLE schedule for the US! They don't even get Yoshi's Wooly World until October! No sign of Devil's Third either, or Project Zero/Fatal Frame 5 either. Who the hell ok'd this!?
  3. WOW! Yoshi's Wooly World isn't out until OCTOBER in the US!? Man, I would be PISSED if I lived in the US!
  4. They made 17 (all the Retro courses plus the DKCR course) out of the total 32 courses as well as about half of the character/kart models and animations throughout the game. It was definitely a 50-50 task between EAD and Retro, going by the Iwata Asks for MK7.
  5. It is indeed. Nintendo work with outside companies on pretty much all of their games now just out of sheer necessity (Monolith Soft helped out on Splatoon BTW ) It's their way of getting around the extra manpower requirements without having to increase the size of their internal teams (which results in their company culture being damaged and development impeded - a factor that has taken down many a company last generation)
  6. So this means that Retro is working on something different? Great! I want to see them work on something completely different now! They've mastered making Metroid already! I didn't want to see them get dragged back into just making more Metroid! They should be branching off into making something totally different now. They've shown that they can do 1st person adventure games, awesome 2D sidescrollers and fantastic Mario Kart games, so godonlyknows what they could do next now!
  7. Sorry mate, the Wiiware games are hardly representitive of the series and you know it :p Also... Treasure Town's music alone says that you are Not... to... mention... the... myriad... of... brilliant... music... throughout... the... series! So NER!
  8. You know, say what you like about the event as a whole and how disappointed you are in them focusing on spinoffs and experimental ideas over traditional/safe sequels, but anyone who complains about Animal Crossing Amiibo Party is a massive hypocrite! Just a week ago, everyone was groaning at the thought of them making a standard AC game for Wii U (myself included) and that they should do something completely different on console because the series is a better fit for handhelds. Now you're all moaning that it's not a bog standard AC game; did you all want another Let's Go to the City situation again!? Err... You got it with Animal Crossing Amiibo Party... That's obviously referring to how Nintendo as a whole is going through a transitional phase; starting to make tie-in mobile games, preparing for the NX, partnering with outside companies in new ways (like with Universal as they mentioned during the E3 video) and the way in which they've moved towards making console games almost entirely through collaborating with outside companies. It's a big period of change for them. Next year is going to be the big one really. We'll be seeing a completely new Nintendo that is going in a very different direction from before...
  9. NICE! Both players permanently get a view from behind their respective side of the court!
  10. Visuals look kinda weak (basically like a spruced up Starfox 64 3D), but the gameplay looks awesome! I wonder if Kamiya is involved in this as well...
  11. I actually think it looks really cool! Glad to see NLG get the chance to revisit that Metroid prototype of theirs! Seems very different from both the mainline Metroid/Metroid Prime series AND the original Metroid Prime Hunters on DS. I know that I'm probably like the only person on the internet who isn't fuming at the existence of this game, but eh? I don't care! I think it looks like it could be good fun!
  12. Finally got home and caught up with the video... Pretty underwhelming overall, but the stuff they did show looked great at least! Just lacked something really major and shockingly unexpected. Not terrible, but not really great either; just ok really
  13. Seems much more likely to me that they took console exclusivity in exchange for helping to publicise the Kickstarter. If they were helping to fund it, you bet your arse that they'd shout about it to gain some easy PR brownie points! I agree that it does set a really unsettling precedent though. Having a Kickstarter announcement in an E3 conference does feel really shady... But still! It's Shenmue bloody 3!!
  14. There is still this... http://4infinity.co/ It's time... to play a game...
  15. Well that was utterly spectacular! It might still get delayed into oblivion like last time, but that was an amazing showing for TLG! A real system seller for me if it actually comes out this time!
  16. Looking forward to seeing this in 2026!
  17. If we can have a Shenmue 3 Kickstarter announced at Sony's E3 conference, does that mean that we can have a Zero Escape 3 Kickstarter announced here? Cause I'd be totally ok with that!
  18. They were probably asking for a lot more than $2m... $2m only provides the absolute bare minimum needed to make something remotely resembling a hypothetical Shenmue 3, while they're really hoping to get much more out of this in order to make what they really want to make.
  19. I've gone for $175. Let's see if anyone else here tops that...
  20. GO BACK IT NOW!!!
  21. Game of the show so far! Dat name
  22. It's more expensive because it's the first time it has ever been released in Europe. It's a brand new game to anyone who hasn't pirated it :p
  23. Looks great! but I wish that they'd show some footage from an actual in-game angle.
  24. They come from the folks who work at Treehouse (NOA's localisation team)
