Definitely getting this, pre-ordered and raring to go. It's been a long time since I've played a good arcade style racing game, and this looks shit hot.
-
Seeing as you can pick WiiU version up for about 35 quid and the 3DS version for 32.99. Not much of a bundle is it.
-
14.98 on the Hut, too. Except if you enter the code AA10 at purchase, you get 10% off, making a grand total of 13.48. Good price.
-
The Hut and probably Zavvi 10% discount code (AA10) making this 34.18 UK pounds free delivery, bargain if you don't own it on another system already.

Agree with this, that they are both very different games. ATM I slightly prefer the WiiU version for its feel while playing. The control of your ship, and fire power, feels so much better using the gamepad, but the 3DS game has so much more to it. At first I couldn't get used to the flying forward sections. It looks like Kid Icarus, but with no touch screen control for shooting. Thus, those sections feel clunky, until you realise that it is probably better to play it like StarFox and not use the 2nd circle pad to move the reticle, but keep it positioned in the centre and move your ship only. After playing the first 2 levels (of the 3DS version) I realise it is a very good game, and feels more like a retail purchase than the Wii U version, but I still prefer the Wii U version, especially because of the local 2 player which goes down a treat in my household. The WiiU version has 16 stages in an Arcade Mode style only, with online leaderbaords, that's it. The 3DS version has a Story Mode (with more levels), the online leaderboard Arcade Mode (where you can collect coins from challenges and spend them on unlockables like artwork, songs, etc.), and more variety in its stages. I agree with DCubed get the WiiU version first, if you like it buy the 3DS version later.

Does it include GBA as well, or was that at a later date? Can't quite remember.
-
Yeah, LOL, but in the first episode of season 3, they were all looking at a map on the bonnet of the car, and Rick said they were travelling in circles. That's the only explanation you get of his adventures so far. Plus I've read all the comics and I mix the two up completely, he was off to Washington DC once in them.

Episode 12 was the best episode I've seen in a long time. Quite reminiscent of the second series in its pacing, and mirrors the comic's feel rather well. Could have done with seeing Duane though.

I really want this game to have local co-op on Raid mode, even if they do a Monster Hunter, and have one player on the WiiU and the other on a 3DS. Do it Capcom,

Was doing really well with the 4th, then going to Ron Freeman's place and ambushed by 5, so died in close confines, but not before releasing a Molotov and killing them all at the same time. The 4th was my best attempt and reached over 2000 points, so collected the UPlay bonus, happy. 5th survivor lasted an incredibly short time due to the section with the double elevators and going up, was ambushed by at least 7 pouring in through the open roof. I then realised that this game is going to throw zombies at me when I am in the smallest confines possible and can't do anything but use a shotgun. Zechs said it earlier that he checked everywhere, taking his time, then out of nowhere from behind him he's ambushed from spawning zombies. Well, this is true and has happened to me at least twice.

Another day, another successful return to the safe house. Still on the fourth survivor, working my way through Buckingham Palace,
-
Yeah, me too. Still waiting for a good price point for AC3. This and ME3 have kept their price up, whilst Batman (one of the best games I've played on the WiiU yet) dropped rather quickly. Maybe after the 2nd tranche of quality titles is released then a price drop may rear its head.
-
Just finished another hour with this game, said @shin_kagato was about in Buckingham Palace, just finished it, but didn't see your rotting flesh there. Still, after an hour my nerves are jangling, and that's enough until tomorrow. Not too sure if I like the constantly pinging radar now though.
-
It also includes a limited edition booklet with ZombiU artwork, etc.
-
The fact stands that 22% of people surveyed may buy one, that's a fair chunk of sales at the end of the day when extrapolated to the further public.
-
I pretty sure that's the case. They did say it will work through the gamepad mic.
-
Yes, but when did this RSI happen, I'll bet it was playing through Kid Icarus on the 3DS. Not the best advert for that game.
-
That's right, Come on the Wales!
-
@khilafah In the future, your guess is as good as mine, but I think there's more chance that the answer is pointing toward the negative regions. But, the Wii U game does include the previously released DLC on disc, that being 6 supercars , iirc, including a Bugatti Veyron, Lambourghini, McClaren F1, etc.

^Me too, I've gone and done it. Now I have too many games to play in March and beyond, and that's not even counting Luigi's Mansion on the 3DS.

Your Favourite Game OF ALL TIME (up to this point)
Londragon replied to Fused King's topic in General Gaming Discussion
It's going to have to be the game that turned me back onto gaming, (I was a gamer on the NES and by the end of the SNES I was getting a little bored) especially local multiplayer, and it is; GOLDENEYE 64 - Turned all those tired FPS', like Doom, into the wow factor. Couldn't stop playing and my grades suffered, as did all my flatmates'. -
I was going to ask the very same question. I'm interested, but have a lot of games to play atm, is this worth it?
-
Played a good session on the 3DS last night, and played through a number of the weapons. The sword and shield is responsive, so I liked that, couldn't quite get to grips with the hammer, but that is inexperience. My absolute favourite was the bow. Was rocking that and after 5 minutes felt like I was aiming like a pro. If I buy the full game, on Wii U only, I will start off with the bow. Can see how this is slower to take down an enemy though.

Just played the demo for about an hour. After playing the 3DS version wasn't impressed due to the camera (which will undoubtedly be improved with the use of the circle pad pro), but the WiiU version has me hooked. Took down that easy boss Lagomdi, ??, on my second go, and had the Pleisioth, ??, drooling before time ran out. Damn it, that's another game I now want. I pre-ordered Lego City and NFS:MW at a bargain, do I cancel one or buy all 3 and face the wrath of the wife???? LOL. Anyway, my 2 niggles are that some of the areas are small, what's it like in the main game, are areas bigger (this I can put up with if problem 2 is OK). Second, are there time limits when fighting monsters in the full game because my main point of losing a fight is not health, but because I've played safe and slowly whittled it down, only to find out I would be happy putting another 20 minutes into beating this monster down, but couldn't. Plus I'd like to teach some of the lesser monsters who were interferring a lesson or two.
