Completely agree. I loved the 3 Castlevania's on the DS (never did finish OoE though, will have to go back to one day), and was afraid that this would be just a side scrolling brawler. Yes, there is a hefty amount of combat (which is intuitive and complex), but it still retains the same platform-esque feeling. So, this, unfortunately for my wallet, is another must buy. The demo really sells it well, even if it is too short. The producer David Cox came out in the last ND and said that there will be 20 hours of gameplay in this game. Nice, and going by the demo it looks as if it will have a lot of replay value, too.

Assholes, sorry it didn't work out for you. Buy them somewhere else, like ShopTo, they are great, and tend to have very reasonable prices.

Not yet, maybe I'll try just for the fun of it. The zombies still get through the door albeit a bit slower.

Whoa what's that running at 20fps, so jerky, or is that the compression of Youtube. I played my brother's XBox 360 a year ago and most of the games on there looked like this jerk-fest. Before you ask, I played Batman AC, Gears of War and Battlefield 3. I don't get the complaints of Batman having frame rate issues on the WiiU, it seems far better than the XBox version.

Just finished another hour with this beauty. Got up to the Bunker, but sadly lost another survivor on the way. I get too cocky and try it on with 2 zombies at a time, shoving and batting, and then they lunge with that 1 hit kill, and it's all over. Anyway, this game is ramping the tension up with those narrow corridors. Onto my 4th survivor. Best score so far 1790. I have been hording and looting like a monster and my metal container at the safe house is already full, so time to use my weapons a bit more, I think. I've been doing everything with the bat. Got BigChief's zombie today in Victoria.

Hi, I ordered on the 1st of February from The Hut and it was priced at 30.98 pounds. Then, they put the 10% discount on top after, which made it 27.88. But, as I don't live in the UK it cost another 0.99p for delivery, making a grand total of 28.87. Yeah email them, they also did this to me before, but honoured the lower price after I emailed them about it.:awesome:

My son has finally gone back to school after a long Cihnese winter vacation, coincides with Chinese New Year and not Christmas (so not that long). So, now my vacation, in a way, starts. Freedom in the early morning, children have to be in school at 7am here, to clean and stuff, has allowed me to restart the campaign and I've just finished the first Zombie horde raid against the safe house. Starting to distrust the Prepper, 'safe' house my arse. Who the fuck let them in? The thing I learnt was to keep on moving and let the zombies follow you until it's time to bash them in. Just did the walk to Buckingham, and returned to save via the shortcut. Really enjoying this and am off to play it now for a couple of hours this morning. Just finished another session, and apart from dying twice it went quite well. So, on my 3rd survivor now. First death was after sucessfully taking down @Zechs Merquise zombie, in Victoria, just finished looting, stood up to find another zombie right on top of me. Kind of half-paniced and died. Then, went to reclaim my goods thinking it was just one zombie, but of course there is the killer and my infected, couldn't handle 2 in such a close confined area (in the haulage container area). Died. Later got to the Raven safe house, whilst taking down @Phube along the way. Love the gun emplacement.

I was not expecting this to be multiplayer in the slightest, the fact that neither TT Games or Nintendo haven't stated it will be at all over the last year, and the fact that it's not multiplayer doesn't quench my thirst for this game. This will be mine, and I'm really looking forward to some hot Chase McCain action.

I got one streetpass yesterday, which is a crazy number for Taiwan, only to find out it was probably the demo model in an electronics shop I passed and no puzzle pieces or anything Well, at long last the Taiwanese can now buy Chinese 3DS' from retailers here, maybe now I'll start to get those long sought after Streetpasses.

They've confirmed that MH4 (on the 3DS, of course) will include online play. They said that they had some problems with the old MH3 code/build to add online to it, but with MH4 being a newer build they made sure they could implement it from the get-go.

In the last ND, Miyamoto did mention so called 'Boss Ghosts', but without any pictures to go with it, just his chirpy face. Suppose they don't want to spoiler the game at all/much.

No, no aim in the vertical sense of the word. It really is an arcade conversion with the simplest control scheme ever. D-Pad or Analogue Stick to move and any button to shoot, that's it (auto aim for verticality). On other note, the Wii U Pro Controller is lovely playing this, the analogue stick feels so good.

I owned a Wii and now a Wii U, never have played DKCR, and it shall be mine on 3DS, too.

The video is now available to download on the 3DS eShop, and it's looking sweet.
-
An RPG mode would be good, but I hope they include a good online mode.

Completely agree that this is going to be the same game. The point I was trying to get across is that being built from the ground up will require a lot more effort and therefore a lot more input from RETRO. Get your plane tickets and slapping hand ready.
-
You're right. Just took a look for myself and it's not there yet, will edit above post. Cheers.
-
Shibata san did say that this is not just a simple port, but has been built from the ground up for the 3DS.

This is looking so good at the moment, can't wait to see more. Was it a summer release?
-
In Europe this was called 'Crash or Splash' or vice versa.
-
Well spotted. Gonna get there soon.

I would try to summarise all that, but it was just too much. Game after game after game, and when I thought it was all over another two. Awesome.
