  1. the Wii version looks cool but 360 for me. new animations and graphics look too nice to miss. might get Wii version later.
  2. because i wanna see liverpool challenge for the title mate. I wanna see liverpool play attacking football home and away. I just cant see the reds getting close to Man Utd unless the style of play changes. I think they should of signed a top quality dribbler which they havent replaced since McManaman left. Gerrard can't bail Liverpool out every week. I dunno, next week vs Villa we will see just how serious Rafa is when he sez that he will be more attacking this season.
  3. Yeah it's pre-season but nothing has changed. lack of flair, guile and imagination. the liverpool midfield get plenty of the ball but do not create chances for the strikers. I honestly cannot see it changing. Pennant was awful and Kewell average again. Henry and Drogba would struggle to score goals in a liverpool team. it's pre-season and Rafa still wont take risks and be more adventures. compare Arsenal in pre-season with liverpool and you see the difference..
  4. 360 and the Wii? I pretty sure this would only be the old Neo-Geo games. new 2-D KOF games will still be on PS2.
  5. Liverpool are playing exactly the same as last year. doesnt look like anything has changed. seriously struggling to create genuine chances! Its just like last year.. Boring, lack of imagination and ideas, too many long balls... Rafa is too cautious, you cannot win the league playing this way. Watching Arsenal youngsters is more enjoyable.
  6. I pre-ordered Asian version of Madden which out on 14th. didnt like Madden 07 but 08 looks sick!!
  7. This man speaks the truth. I looking at my Dreamcast version of Quake with Mouse and Keyboard..
  8. The list does put my faith back in SEGA. new Jet Set Radio, Skies of Arcadia 2, Space Channel 5 on DS/Wii, Sega Rally Revo, Virtua Fighter Megamix. it is like the 2nd birth of the Dreamcast.

  11. MSG4 looks hot! A.I still looks suspect though. After Snake chokes out the 1st soldier he leaves him lying on the floor. Watch the 2nd soldier, he walks over and acts like nothing happened. Crysis still looks like the best graphically if you ask me!!
  12. I have a 360, Wii, NDS so I not in any rush to buy a PS3. I may get one when MGS4 is released but then it would only be a japanese machine as you get can get them for £300. There is no way I would pay £400 for a games console. Blue-Ray does not interest me same as HD-DVD doesnt.
  13. Not sure if this what you mean but are you saying that gamers can not see the difference between graphics on a PS3/360 compared to a Wii on SDTV? Even on SDTV the graphics still look better than Current Gen. I not sure why people say that they don't to be honest.
  14. some of the ball physics on the 360 version are outstanding. I don't think that will be possible on the Wii version.
  15. Ha Ha I feel what your saying. browsing the shop is painful!! it is good EA are giving this kind of support but I do worry about the graphics.
  16. was thinking about ordering the japanese version but after reading some opinions on other sites i not gonna bother. suppose to be very easy and it is like 8 hours long.
  17. new trailer up at http://www.gametrailers.com visually it is really bad. looks like a PSP game!!
  18. Stuntman demo is up!
  19. basically you shake the Wii-mote and nunchuk till you get full speed. you can then stop shaking and just shake Wii-mote to go right and nunchuk to go left. when you feel speed is decreasing you shake both to get full speed again. when collecting bananas you fill up the turbo meter. too activate it you pull the analogue stick back and then let go. It is a cool game and at the moment it stops the Wii in my house collecting dust.
  20. Game is awesome! sometimes the wiimote picks up wrong movements but it is a great game..
  21. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=475542&CPID=24&clid=144&lid=4161&title=L'OM+claim+Cisse+agreement Marseille have claimed they have "agreed in principle" a deal to sign Liverpool's Djibril Cisse. The French club's move for Cisse was put in doubt earlier on Friday after Liverpool confirmed West Ham had made an approach for the striker. However, Marseille insist they are on the brink of clinching a deal for long-term target Cisse and that he will join former Liverpool team-mate Bolo Zenden at the club. A statement on the club's official website read: " "As well as signing Boudewijn Zenden, Marseille have also reached an agreement in principle with Liverpool for the transfer of Djibril Cisse." Marseille have been chasing a deal for Cisse all summer after he spent last season on loan at Stade Velodrome and they are confident of finally landing the French international despite West Ham's interest.
  22. Looks like Djib won't be signing for Marseille. Marseille have taken so fcukin long to sort this out and now it gonna hurt us bad! got no strikers apart from Niang and we just signed that waste of space Bolo Zenden!! Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has confirmed West Ham have made an approach for Djibril Cisse. Cisse is surplus to requirements at Anfield and Liverpool are ready to listen to offers for the French international. Marseille had been leading the chase to sign Cisse after he spent the whole of last season on loan at the Stade Velodrome. However, West Ham could now be ready to pinch the former Auxerre ace from under the noses of Marseille. Liverpool are believed to be holding out for a fee in the region of £9million for their former club record signing and West Ham could outbid Marseille for Cisse's signature. West Ham are actively scouring the market for striking reinforcements with Carlos Tevez seemingly on his way to Manchester United. The Hammers are also though to be keen on Cisse's Liverpool team-mate Craig Bellamy. Bellamy has been pushed down the pecking order by the recent arrival of Fernando Torres and Benitez confirmed earlier this week he was considering offers for the Welsh international. source:http://www.skysports.com

  25. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/6254338.stm Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse is set to sign a permanent deal with Marseille despite a late approach from West Ham. Bolton and Portsmouth were also interested in signing the 25-year-old, who cost Liverpool £14m in July 2004. But Cisse, who spent last season on loan at Marseille, is keen to join the French club on a permanent basis. "Marseille is definitely the choice for Djibril," Cisse's agent Ranko Stojic told BBC Sport. "I think the deal will happen on Friday or Saturday." Stojic added: "I have been very busy this week - I caught six planes in two days - and I am sorry for the people I have not had the chance to call back, Mr Eggert Magnusson of West Ham for example." Magnusson, who was thwarted in his attempt to sign Darren Bent from Charlton, tried to contact Stojic earlier in the week - but Cisse had already opted to join Marseille permanently. "The Marseille option is the best choice for Djibril because of the Champions League," said Stojic. "West Ham, Bolton and Portsmouth I understand are very, very good clubs but Djibril wants to play in the top level of European competition next season." Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez made it clear that Cisse would only be allowed to leave Anfield on a permanent basis. "Mr Benitez has been very, very correct," added Stojic. "Of course he tried to get a little bit more money for his club but I think it will be a good deal for everybody. "There are some details to sort out between Liverpool and Marseille but I think it will happen soon." Marseille started their pre-season training on 25 June and the player is keen to sort out his future as soon as possible so he can join his new team-mates. Cisse, who has two years left on his deal at Liverpool, has broken his leg twice in the last three years, first in 2004 and then in a friendly for France against China last year just before the World Cup in Germany. And after suffering such serious injuries, Stojic stated: "He is so motivated after all the problems he has had." .......... great signing for Marseille. Now I hope Marseille get Liverpool in the CL group stages.
