great response. You call me a FIFA lover even though I buy every Winning Eleven game Konami release. Sit there for days on end editing every japanese name into english so I can enjoy the series I love. Last FIFA game I bought was FIFA 2004 on the xbox which was total shit! Downloaded FIFA 08 demo and for once I was actually impressed with a FIFA game. I not some fanboy who won't give FIFA a chance just because I am a Winning Eleven player. I love Winning Eleven, damn I even have an offical Winning Eleven football Jersey. I just telling you what I think of the demo. It's not good but like I said this is not the final version. The final build will be much better. play the demo and tell me if it plays is like 'real' football?? honestly the speed is crazy!

PES2008 demo is a joke! plays like a fun arcade game and not a 'simulation.' the pace is crazy. plays way too fast. This build is the same as the shocking demo in Leipzig and is not the final build. the physics are ridiculous, every ball skates across the grass. Everything is decided by the CPU so every pass you do is either perfect, or goes straight to the CPU. Its impossible to pass into space unless you use through balls. oh and playing on top player is laughable. way to easy!! the faces are amazing though and look so like real life. Like I have said, this is a very old build..

they are always called World Soccer Winning Eleven. It is the Winning Eleven J-League games that do not have national sides.

I've just found this bit of info from the PRO-G website. When contacted by Pro-G a Microsoft rep confirmed rumours that gamers who play Halo 3 early will have their LIVE accounts banned. Simply not connecting to the internet doesn't appear to be a solution either. The rep also confirmed that Microsoft is able to ban accounts based on information collected by the console which shows when the game was played. This news is sure to come as a shock to some gamers who have already started playing the final chapter in the blockbuster Halo trilogy. the demo is at semi-pro level plus it is an old build. but yes FIFA has always had a problem in that the difficulty level doesnt really effect the teams. So if I am Barca and play Bolton on World class level, it is still gonna be a very hard game. The passing is superb and looks great. The A.I is very good and move around the pitch and the runs they make are brilliant. You really have to pass the ball around to create chances in this game. I am amazed sometimes at how the AI reacts, I often pull defenders out of position only for other players to drop in and cover his place.I have to pass across the back and in and out of midfield before i feel confident of making a good pass into my front man.This is far more realistic and thus much more rewarding. The response time is the best in any FIFA game but still needs tightening. hopefully this will be sorted by final release. The GK's need to be improved as they make some shocking errors. I havent seen it on a regular basis though. Also where are these sweet spots to score goals as I havent seen one yet. Character models do suck, have no idea why EA cannot get these right. I am also gonna buy PES2008 and even if it is better the problem I have is Konami still rolling out a game with the shitty ML and no online leagues. I have bought every Winning Eleven game since WE6:FE and the ML has still not changed since WE7 (PES3). Nice one man. I really happy with FIFA 08 demo, plus this is not the final build so the full game should be great. Just hate the demo is only 4mins long.. the online interactive leagues are gonna be amazing!! Now hoping PES2008 improves big time over PES6 as I want two quality footy games.

my 360 controller does not work unless plug & play is plugged in USB port. do i need new pad or just new plug and play??

Stefkov you done any crazy tricks yet? also what you think of the shooting in the arena play around section? I think in this years FIFA the one shot = cheap goals have gone away. Plus you can only really pull off the tricks with the top players. oh and the demo hits tonight in europe. take off the blinkers! PES is not better in every way. PES6 or even PES2008 does not have 360 movement, PES2008 does not have Manuel passing. PES2008 still has the shitty ML mode which is a poor excuse of a career mode. I have always loved the PES/Winning Eleven series. damn I have bought every Winning Eleven game since WE6:FE on the GC. (that includes all the J-League games). I am now finally noticing that Sebass and Konami are getting lazy. each version has a few new tweaks but they all are practically the same game. They need a new engine! the game is still too scripted and the CPU still cheats!! From what I have seen of FIFA 08 and PES2008, FIFA 08 is gonna be the winner this year.

totally different to what my friend thinks. he saying passing is out of this world. you can choose to pass slow or fast just like real life instead of the scripted BS in PES. what do you think about the shooting? my friend sez aiming is perfect, the shot-power is perfect. also he says it is hard on Semi-pro and 100x better than FIFA 07. Guess I will have to play myself though.

well if your talking about Hezbollah, they are not a terrorist organisation. America my put them in there own terror list but they are not terrorists. I see no problem with Iran supporting them. The British and American armies are always accusing Iran of supporting the resistance in Iraq etc. I have never seen them actually show any sufficient proof though. Israel is a state built from terrorism but hey it's okay to support them with weapons and ignore there nuclear weapons programme. I agree the less countries that have them the better but at the moment it is not a fair system. Why should the Super Powers have them while everyone else has to sit and watch. Iran faces Israel to the East and America to the west. both would like to see a regime change etc. Both have Nuclear programmes. now if you was Iran wouldn't you build up you build up yours also..
