Only Winning Eleven 6:FE was released on the GC. it bombed in the sales charts so Konami decided not to release it on GC after that. Also I not sure if the Wii version will be released in Japan this year you know. the DS version is coming out in october but even the PS3, 360 dates have not been confirmed. Cube, in Japan they always release two versions of Winning Eleven in a year instead of just one version here in Europe. WE6:FE was basically unreleased PES3.5 but it was released on PS2 also. WE10 J-Leage World Championship 2007 was released in Japan on PS2 few weeks ago. The Pal PS2 version of PES2008 will be based on this version. now the Wii version maybe a port of the PS2 PES2008 game or if Konami to decide to release a Japan exclusive Winning Eleven J-League game in early 2008 the Wii game maybe based on that version instead.

the core 360 is only worth getting if you can get one off ebay for say £140. Then buy a 20GB HD from play-asia for £45.

I use a VGA connection with HDTV and get a very nice picture. do not bother spending money on official vga cable. you can get cheaper cables which are just as good as microsoft's offering. Is SWOS released next week?

Yeah this week we should see how good the Next Gen PES2008 is. looks like it will have the same BS ML so thats annoying. A Wii version will be released but not till next year. I reckon it will use the same engine as the PS2 versions so it is gonna be a bit dated. I have the newest PS2 Japanese game which was released few weeks ago and it is not much different from PES6.

I have Sky and although I annoyed that they will charge me £199 for a HD box I won't leave SKY. I pay extra for Setanta anyway and also nothing beats Sky's soccer saturday programme. also what about Champions League coverage. with Sky you can choose to watch any game from the 8 choices. can you do this with Virgin?

cool dude, thought you meant the 360 version looked poor.. way off the mark lol good that the Wii version looks very nice. shame not all 3rd party games on the Wii are pushing the machine's graphical abilities.

but the 360 version looks identical to the PS3 so how can the Wii version look like the 360 game. NCAA football 08 looks better on the 360 compared to PS3 also.

that stranglehold demo is pretty cool and multi-player does look very enjoyable.

I think Chelsea will go 4-3-3 this season. it is the best way for them to play with Malouda LF, Drogba through the middle and you can play SWP or Joe Cole RF. I think Chelsea and Utd will be neck and neck all the way through the season. Utd will be great this season. Gonna score huge amount goals, Tevez will be superb. Ronaldo will be amazing as ever and I looking forward to seeing Anderson play. Liverpool made good signing with Torres but havent got the required Wingers. Kewell is finished and will never be back to his best. I don't really rate Pennant as he is wasteful. plenty of times his crosses are wayward and his dribbling skills are not great. Babbel is a good player but not a winger, he always played upfront for Ajax and he is also Right Footed so if I hope Rafa does not play him LW. I not sure if he is ready yet, speaking to Ajax fans they seem to think he would of been better staying in Holland for another season. Like I have said before I think Rafa has to change his way of thinking. it works in europe but in the EPL especially away from home Rafa is just too cautious. The Midfield are too deep and hardly get forward, full backs are not attacking enough and when teams sit back Liverpool lack imagination and flair to create chances. Liverpool need a new John Barnes or Steve McManaman.
