LAUNCHING ON 2ND of OCTOBER Spinoff game focussed on the decorating aspect of the Animal Crossing series. Spend your time as a member of the Happy Home Academy, decorating the rooms of animals with the furniture to their liking. Uses "Amiibo cards" for the first time, works exactly like scanning in amiibo. Scanning an animal card will summon that animal to the game. The design of the cards is very similar to the original E-reader cards: A seperate NFC-reader launches together with this game, enabling older 3DS systems to read Amiibo's. The Animal Crossing Amiibo's for Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival will also work with this game, but it hasn't been announced what they exactly do in Happy Home Designer.

At first I wasn't interested in buying this at all, even though I always found it to look gorgeous! The inclusion of the challenge/ mellow mode is a really good idea. I hope the normal mode will be comparable to the original Yoshi's Island on terms of difficulty. So I guess I might pick it up after all! Yarn yoshi amiibo is the best thing EVER

I voted for captain toad, feel like he could be a really original fighter! But so many characters fit that criteria, there is just so much to choose from haha! My first choice would have been Chibi Robo, but that would probably never get picked bc of the size issue. (Same for Ridley I guess)

I can imagine giving an interview and racing at the same time isn't very easy, and that she would prioritize giving correct and good answers instead of winning the videogame :p My brother played Mario Kart 8 for the first time this weekend, the last game he played was the wii version. He was/is still awfull and super rusty. I guess it does take a while to get back into it? (well at least for me it does) I am super excited for tonight, I really hope they'll show off some of the new tracks! The other DLC package was top notch.

A Cat passed away on my car passenger seat this morning

I think what you did was awfully kind, not many people would have gone through all of that. So yeah you should be really proud of yourself ok! -
Ahn let's hope some of the rumors are true, and I would really appreciate a flipnote 3D release after the direct (like come on even North America has it by now).

They really should release a demo version of this game! It's a new thing, so nobody really knows what it will play like. Sadly enough the WiiU doesn't have that much demo's. Would still be nice though . I love all the character customization they are posting on their twitter. It's going to be so much fun building a fun character that matches your playstyle!

I love this one, the lighting and style is so great! Great work!

I'm still getting it! I never use voice chat anyways, since my accent in English is horrible :p. I do understand the disappointment of many people though. That being said the concept just looks so much fun, it has amazing design, character customisation and tons of personality! I think it's honestly the first WiiU game I was ever hyped for!

Nintendo and Online Gaming. What's The Deal?
M_rock replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I agree! But the hard truth is that children don't play wiiu, they play PlayStation and xbox, with voice chat. And that isn't stopping parents from buying it. -

I'm still getting splatoon because I'm really intruiged by the concept but this is rediculous. No voice chat with strangers is at least somehow understandable. But no voice chat with friends is outrageous, what harm could that do? There already is a parental system in place! I just really care for the company and their ip's but they really are destroying any interest in their games by being so stubborn. -
I wanted to make a chibi robo WiiU mockup a while ago, but that never happened. Ended up with a chibi robo model though: Might end up rigging it sometimes, but I'm really horrible at that so far :p

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
M_rock replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I also liked Fi as a character. The ending of skyward sword really made her evolve so much in personality and I really loved that. As a gameplay decision though she was a real funkiller. -
Apps that work together with specific games on the WiiU/3DS/ nintendo NX could be great too! Like being able to sort through your mailbox of Animal Crossing on your phone. Making sure your crops are already watered in Harvest moon by the time you get home. Being able to check if your pokémon has already been traded on the GTS. Making notes on your map for Zelda games, stuff like that! Those are all little applications, but I feel they could go a long way into improving the inversion of their games?

The framerate drops are really occuring regulary, it's nothing huge or gamebreaking, but it is definetly noticable. It mostly occurs in Termina field, but also during boss fights or situations with lots of enemies. It does make me wish this was a new 3DS enhanced title. That might have resolved the framerate issues. Still a great timeless game nonetheless.

Mine was stiff and tough to control as well, but it gets smoother after a couple hours of playing (or at least that's why my new 3DS did)

Does anybody know a good online store where you can buy eshop credit and the code is mailed to you directly (as opposed to the company having you send an actual card)? Also does anybody have an idea if eshop cards are compatible with all PAL areas, or does the country has to match as well? (As in would a code from the UK work on a Belgian system, even though there is a different currency?)
-
Well to be exact they said it will be a reward for people who sign up for the new service. Maybe you can sign up before the new club nintendo actually launches and get the download code in advance. Probably not, but still a possibility

Flipnote Studio 3D is now finally available on the NA club nintendo. Let's hope Europe follows soon! All online features seem to have been removed. But it is still possible to export movies to the SD card and share flipnotes over local connection.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoyed your day!

Happy birthday! Enjoy it!

I can't seem to find a clear answer anywhere, but this is only for direct video game footage right? It doesn't apply to let's say a fanmade Super Mario animation or things like that? Well I guess it's a step in the good direction, if it is indeed intended for let's plays. As always with nintendo it needs work though, they need to support all of their game library. Maybe that will come eventually.

It would be fantastic if nintendo or another company would enable people to order faceplates with their own images! It's already being made for iphone covers etc, so it should be possible. I can dream right :p
-
Since you can only register one copy of a game, I have 2 nintendo club codes left (my brother and me share accounts so) I have one for: -Fantasy Life -Smash bros for 3DS Is anyobody interested in swapping them for another code that I can register? If not I'll just give them away, would be a shame to just let them go to waste! EDIT: Yeah forget that, if anybody wants them, just send me a PM Codes are gone!

Thanks so much! I was indeed worried about having to unscrew the cover every time (I remove the SD card about 3 times a week so hahaha) But this is perfect! Thank you!
