Oh, that's amazing! Thanks for sharing that!

I remove the SD card from my 3DS almost daily to post pictures of my Animal Crossing designs on my blog. Having to use a screwdriver every time is really an inconvenience to be honest. I hope the image uploader will work properly by then, I never get it to work on my current system.

I played the demo (never touched a bayonetta game before), and I must say I'm really impressed. Normally this wouldn't be my kind of game, but it was just so much fun. There was action EVERYWHERE, I'm still looking around to catch all the details and the funny moves! It also reminded me a bit of the wonderful 101, and that's a good thing :p Anyways, it's really good they made a demo for this game, otherwise I wouldn't even have considered buying it

Man, it's rediculous how good this game looks, the visuals are the best I have seen so far on WiiU. Too bad about the delay, but I'm still very excited to play this eventually!

Gamecube Controller Adapter compatible with... Bugger all.
M_rock replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Ugh no I was hoping it would be compatible with Mario kart 8 as well. I hope they'll patch that in later for other specific games. -
In that case I said nothing :p

I really expected the themes to be free, as it is a rather rediculous thing to ask money for. I never expected nintendo would do that.

I got this together with my brother today, and I love it! The intro was way too long and too tutorial like though. So many text. But once you delve through that, the game is really fun! It's quite engaging as well. My brother started as a hunter, I started as a tailor. We haven't done multiplayer yet, but I'm hoping we'll be able to work together, he could easily give me materials while I could craft his clothing hehe! The visual style is so charming, although it is pretty clear that this is an earlier 3DS game. The models are all very basic, but the lovely textures and zoomed out camera make that less noticable.

Ugh after reading that fantastic review, I can't wait to get my hands on this! I'm also really excited for the online aspect!

I still have one spare code left, does anybody want it? (first come first serve :p ) Sorry, Code is gone now!

I am really enjoying this so so much! It feels just like a little portable melee! I was concerned with the small size of my 3DS, but so far it's no problem at all! This is smash at it's purest, the controls are perfect, the items are fun and god I love the new characters so far!

I've been begging for the inclusion of Alph for months now, this makes me very happy! I really can't wait to play the 3DS version. I'm a bit scared the WiiU version won't feel very fresh because of that, but I just can't bring myself to wait and skip all those fun 3DS stages :p

I'm really glad they announced this before smash bros comes out! Now I can spare the money I was going to spend on the limited edition XL and stick around with my normal 3DS a little longer. I really like the new smaller one, the swap plates are super fun, and I like the second stick! ALSO YES A MATTE FINISH. I missed out on xenoblade chronicles for the wii, because I refused to buy another wii controller haha. I'm looking forward to play it on my new 3ds! It's good they beefed it up a bit, loading the OS and miiverse can take quite a while! I think it will be way less frustrating when it all goes a bit more smooth! The thing is though, I loved my dsi, but after 2 years, the 3DS was already announced. It felt way too early for a succesor back then. I hope it doesn't end up like this again. PS: I wonder if this will use the regular Dsi/3DS/3DS xl charger? I hope so!

I think it's very possitive he thinks this way. Small app games are a market of their own, and nintendo should not focus on that. They should focus on offering brilliant immersive experiences, that's what they really shine at. I'm also convinced that a part of all the crowd that got into gaming thanks to the DS and Wii (brain training, wii sports etc.) might stick around and evolve into hardcore. My aunt is 52 years old, she got a nintendo DS with brain training as her first gaming system ever. She learned how to deal with games slowly and now she's as much of a gamer as I am. She plays Mario, Zelda, Luigi's Mansion, Kirby etc. That never would have happened without wii sports and brain training reeling her in. So yeah the little apps might be a good stepping stone for newcomers, but the focus should remain on the true good nintendo games.

The DLC does look amazing! (I wish they picked toon link over skyward sword link, I think he would have blended in better with the art style, but this is just nitpicking) I can't wait for the courses to come out! 16 new courses is very much, and the price is really fair. It's such a shame we still have to wait until may for the second pack though.

Apparently that's not concept art for a female link at all, but rather Link's daughter

So the contest results are finally in! And I won! Got a neat ninja suit as a prize, in a blue and a black color (one for being nominated, one for winning) Two unique suits would have been better (or a limited edition chibi robo WiiU like the japanese winners got), but still pretty cool either way:

idk, I found Kirby Triple Deluxe very fresh and platforming perfection. It is the only 3DS retail title I found worthwhile to pick up this year though... There is alot of great content in the eshop though, I really feel like 3DS has gravely surpassed the DSi in that area. I can't wait to play smash and fantasy life too!

I hope they release a demo for this game, so I can test if I actually somewhat like the gameplay first. To be honest a demo should be a no brainer for any major WiiU game.

Intro cinematic (in japanese):

Thank you! That's great! Might finally upgrade to an XL then if I have the money :p
-
Is it possible to buy this 3DS XL and transfer my games from my regular 3DS, without losing the pre installed Smash Brothers game?

When thinking of the worst game I have, this one immediatly comes to my mind: I'm aware that sticker star is far from the worst game ever made. But it left such a bitter taste in my mouth. I expected something unique and immersive, like previous paper mario's, but got something very boring and generic instead. I couldn't connect with the characters, levels felt bland and I hated the sticker system. I also hated pretty much every Sonic game I ever got. (Apparently I picked out all the bad ones as a kid)

The problem with that is that the 3DS has such a sweat putting out the graphics of the X/Y battle scenes. The models were made so detailed that the framerate drop in horde battles and tripple battles is quite horrible. I hope they managed to improve that a bit for these games.

The download finally worked! Was lovely to see what people came up with Yeah the contest could have been made much more simple, it was a bit hard to find everything out. (And the incorrect information of NoE's twitter didn't exactly help on that part ) But after all I'm really glad they are doing the contest, it's nice to see some user content based contest by nintendo. Wish they did this more often! Thanks!!!
