  1. Awww, shit.
  2. just slip a hip flask in.
  3. wait, what!?
  4. Battlefield is so far superior to COD it's actually hilarious.
  5. Well...no..he's basically untouchable in hand to hand combat, can jump across rooftops, dodge bullets, has incredible stamina, he's super-strong (proportional strengh- would you want to be hit by a spider the size of us?) In fact, I've always considered him one of Marvel's most powerful super heroes.
  6. I'm...almost sure she's English. Have I been wrong all this time!?
  7. Generally speaking though, it's the latest characterisation that makes it in to the movies. I mean, if we're talking originals...
  8. A bird did a poo on me. I hate birds.
  9. Naa! Mechanical shooters work in a lot of ways that biological ones don't. Once you get past the 'omg he's only a kid he can't do that!' wall (artfully demolished in Ultimate Spider-Man, fun fans) they're a strong part of his character.
  10. He's an incredibly convoluted badguy- he's several clones and psychic hosts past his original body so he may have originally worn a mask but it's certainly a real face at this point. Or was. I think Brubaker killed him off pretty thoroughly not so long ago.
  11. Yep. Captain America is Weapon I, Wolverine is Weapon X (numerals, not X-Gene) And in the Ultimate marvel continuity, The Hulk is the result of an attempt to re-create the Super Soldier Serum used on Cap.
  12. you do realise that 99% of Tokyo isn't the neon lit shopping district, right?
  13. Shheeeeeeeee--iit. Looks pretty funny
  14. Yeah that's a huge problem in these games- there's just no way any kind of narrative can be sustainable and believable under the stress of that body count. It makes no sense.
  15. They need to make the missions more open. It's too much of a juxtaposition to have such an expansive city and then have each mission put your creative balls in a clamp. Also: make it shorter! GTAIV was much improved by The Lost and Damned because the latter had such a brief span- I simply don't give two fucks about Nico because his quest for revenge was nothing but a mcguffin stretched too thin. By comparison, The Lost provided a compelling narrative because the characters were good and the story had momentum. In fact, fuck a main story. Lets have a bunch of protagonists all across the city all with short stories to tell.
  16. Unfortunately, I don't think that's true. Season 4 is my favourite. It sums up everything great about The Wire and it has the best B-cast of the lot. on top of it all, the finale reduced me to a blubbering emo wreck so there's that.
  17. they're usually blue, yeah. it varies from artist to artist though- but never red.
  18. ah, Fargate... my brother worked in the charity sector for a few years doing proper fundraising (hundreds of thousands, not a tenner a month) and he said that a lot of organisations were moving away from the chuggers because they suck massively. All they do is get students etc to sign up and they can never commit to any kind of long term payment. Plus they generate a lot of ill will because they pester people, associating annoying tactics with even good causes.
  19. seriously, put on headphones. You vanish from their view like a gazelle freezing in place to throw off a predator. No mp3? no problem! Just put some on anyway...
  20. Shhh! If you don't say it it won't be true!
  21. Looking really good. Very cool trailer.
  22. lol, what a dick.
  23. maybe not exclusives but I'll be buying Bulletstorm, Deus Ex and (probably) Brink in the next few months. Not a bad run if you ask me.
