on shit films: Hercules in new york is on tv this week. friday night bbc2. seriously, I recommend i purely for 'WTF!?' luls: Arnie's first film in which he couldn't speak english, is credited as arnold strong, and so on. it's utterly sureal shit.

Is anyone else a fan of LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver? I've been giving it more of a listen again and...well, it's fucking incredible. One of the best albums I own by a country mile. hurrah!

Ideally, as the cool ethnic sidekick to maverick cop. What'll happen is I'll take a bullet from the big bad guy, lets call it a blaze of glory scene, and then as I lie dying I get to make my partner vow revenge/ tell my ethnic wife I love her, shortly after which I get to blow up a massive oil tanker as a last, renegade act. He escapes and continues to Evil HQ where there's a small private army waiting. In due course, he will execute every last one, only receiving a left shoulder wound in return. Then, in the big bad showdown with the badguy who killed me, it totally looks like my partner is going to die, but then he has a flashback to me being shot right, and then he like totally flips the fuck out, beats the fucker in the face with a bit of scenery (guns are for pussies) then says 'This is for Dan Dare!' and puts dynamite in his nose, which makes him explode in slow motion. Fade to black, cue one hit wonder power anthem.

fucks alive, I read a shit load of these! are they really that contrived? haha. I actually studied children's lit for uni last year (surprisingly complicated and interesting) so I'd like to go back to them in a way, see what I can say about them. I'll read that article later- looks ace.

Right, motherfuckers! been offline for a month so it's time to get some law and order back in to this thread! Bard and Waste have hopefully been holding the fort while the tired sound of jaded sighs couldn't be voiced anyway, first things first! Uffie needs some bigging up (and a google image search for the discerning gentlemen, fyi), especially her track First Love. it's like N'sync vs Justice- quite possibly the coolest combination of styles like, ever.

I have a 4000 word assignment on Arthur Miller, the question alone being five lines of my hand, so that's pretty epic. 100% of the module, too. also, \I have a 5000 word creative piece to write so that'll be fun. Not much 'work' there as it's so much fun to do.

Pan's is one of my favourite movies- not least because I was utterly unprepared for the fact that it's scary as shit. more so in reality than fantasy, too.
