  1. I couldn't disagree more: It's an awesome mode! I had a game on Checkout earlier that I got 28 kills from. The enemy team kept hiding in the pistol spawns, and I kept throwing it frags. It was beautiful. Some assclown going AFK while the leader lost us the game though
  2. Argh. Such bullshit! One 'goal' never crossed the line and the other was scored by a guy who was offside on two occasions during the build-up! Absolutely comical. If I wasn't a Spurs fan. Gomes can fuck right off though. Harry should replace him over the summer as a priority.
  3. Just to chip in: these badboys are off the hook. Good Dim Sum is just...argh. Too good. It's as close to real Chinese as you get on this godforsaken rock, but like Grunch says it's hard to find. Ditch the takeaway guff and find a place if you can, though. It'll change your life.

    Portal 2

Never a truer word said. Hilarious stuff. I basically threw my girlfriend on to spikes/ fire/ pits of doom / acid lakes whenever possible. This could, if you want it to, say a lot about our relationship.
  5. Happy birthday dude!
  6. You sure that's the 90s? He's not got any pouches on that outfit.
  7. OK, yeah. I see what you mean and...I have no idea what those brackets are on about.
  8. Got a link? I'll see if I can make sense of it

    Portal 2

Depends on if the Co-Op story is set before or after Portal 2. I'm not sure which comes first. If it's the campaign first, then there's an obvious story link at the end of the co-op game.
  12. ...because for guys it's a laugh riot of sunshine, lollipops and andrex puppies...
  13. In the TV show a single T-800 is cemented inside a bank or something in the 1920s and doesn't age when it's found in the present day.
  14. That's cool art! This is all rather silly, but it made me smile.
  15. I'm definitely sticking to 2D for Cap. I just don't like post production 3D - it feels thin and distracting, with little of the nice deep look of Avatar.
  16. Yikes. We paid £10 and felt a bit robbed. It sucks!
  17. Because the 3D is a post production effect rather than how the film was shot (like Avatar) the projection simply shifts to a single image when the 3D isn't there. I kind of wish we'd seen it in 2D. It was ok, but unless the 3D is really substantial, the effect is distracting and the glasses are annoying to wear.
  18. Saying that, I just rewatched Iron Man 2 the Whiplash fight(s) are pretty good, I thought. Maybe not long enough but the choreography is pretty awesome. And the drone scene before it is great fun. Thor definitely has better action, though.
  19. Good Film confirmed. It was excellent. Absolutely nailed the feel of Thor to a tee. It was high fantasy adventure as much as a 'super hero' film (The term doesn't feel right applied to Thor, somehow) and it really worked out. I think the middle act in New Mexico was somewhat over long, even though it had the best jokes, but apart from that it was pacey, dramatic, exciting and fun. Good times. Also: The cast were, to a man, perfect. Hiddleson as Loki, particularly, was spot on. Perfectly captured the God of mischief but also that underlying deeper character. Great performance.
  20. .....well, shit.
  21. Don't. It'll be funny.
  22. oh yeah. lolz.
  23. So, uh, Invincible. Hum.
  24. CBR 'reviews' are some of the worst I've ever read, so I'm not trusting them by any margin! On the plus side, Empire are usually a solid source for reviews and they gave it 4 stars and gave it a very positive review- Said it was epic fantasy writ large. Done assuredly and confidently. Can't ask for more from a Thor movie.
