Yeah it proper sucks I dunno. I won't point fingers- I just think the course was really shit, without calling the staff twats. Maybe they need a new course for people like me though. There's definitely reason enough.

isn't Jean Grey finally dead? last I saw of her Magneto gave her a brain hemmorage. I know she's died about twenty times before but it felt like they really did kill her, what with cyclops getting his rocks off with Emma Frost n all.

Yo! I'm back! Weeooarrgh! Miss me? no? OK that's cool I didn't miss you rotten lot either. so, yeah. Trip to London was a...mixed affair. I went down there for an employability course to aid my job hunt. turns out it was about as much fun as AIDS. Forum, it sucked. It sucked so very hard. I lasted 2 days of 5 before I decided I was in the company of dullards, simpletons and fools. I learned nothing other than that I was being treated like a moron. Now, this course was for people with a disability and I don't want to accuse anyone falsely but I felt utterly patronised. Perhaps they didn't know Cerebal Palsy is not a mental disability of any kind. hmm! Anyway, shitty course aside I had a really good time. I got to see my brother and his girlfriend, I went for dinner with a lovely friend I don't see enough by half, went to The V&A Museum (awesome by the way- a kind of Imperial social history portfolio) and shortly after met Ashley for a swift beverage between trains. and! I got an interview! woop! I also scored an internship with Orion books in their publicity dept. Awesome.

sorry, pet term for the really shit modern indie. Post Libertines 'bare bones' stuff that's written, one imagines, by disturbed chimpanzees. I hate it all with a burning passion. and proper indie is all the awesome 90s and 80s stuff like The Smiths, The Stone Roses etc etc. edit: good to see some Rumours love, Coolness. I only reccomend the best

do you mean good indie or netto indie, Ash? and yeah, more Rumours for me today. It takes a bit of a mood swing on side two (yeah you heard me) but it's all solid gold stuff. I actually might have a sexual attraction to the drum build up in 'Go Your Own Way' it's that good. It's one of those albums that, despite not hearing in it's entirety before, I recognised a good half of it: 'Don't Stop' is one everyone knows, and alot of the other stuff (Dreams, I think, was done by The Corrs) has been heavily covered. The final part of 'The Chain' is also better known as The Forumula One bit off the telly, too. Damn good album though. I shall be making a CD purchase ASAP.

Secret Identity rocks. I really liked that one. not a big fan of the character in that he's almost omnipotent but I think if a story focus' on his alien identity and treats him with a scale and quality of writing befitting the global impact Superman would have, you can make a good story aorund him. so, eh, Watchmen I guess

I loved the marker drawings Ottley did for conventions in the back of Invincible vol.2. Really cool pictures.

ohhhhhh right hey, that's actually pretty cool I guess. isn't he...already doing a job on Invincible though? I think Invincible is currently at the top of my list for comic art atm. The colour is just so fucking good and it really brings out the slick pencils- all bold, clean lines and broard expression. It's ace.

once again I'm amazed 7/10 is considered poor. That's a perfectly decent mark outside of the IGN circle of totally fucking bullshit scores. Wake up!
