I might be going to far with saying this...but perhaps a new Zelda game for the DS? Since Eiji Aonuma and the rest of the Nintendo team are so focused on the Wii Zelda, maybe Nintendo are doing what the did with the GB series of Zelda, when they let Capcom make it. Who knows, it's only something I would like to see (Which never happens )

Since I saw a thread talking about games that we have finished for 2008, I thought we could have a thread talking about the games we have not finished yet, games that you really want to go back and finish it completely, but with so many games forgot all about. So you put down the lists of games you need to complete and once you have finished, edit and cross them off ^_^ (Even talk about how you felt about finishing the game if you want to) So I may as well start DS Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Final Fantasy III Final Fantasy IV Chrono Trigger Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Luminous Arc 2 PS2 Persona 3 Persona 4 Odin Sphere Rouge Galaxy Xenosaga I'll add the rest of the systems soon, just going through the DS like there is no tomorrow at the moment, so had no time to look at my collections of the other system >_>.

COR BLIMEY!!! That's one of the things which make Dragon Quest so much better then most other game series, the characters are so memorable.

Yeah, either crap opening music without a good J-pop music behind it, or we get vesperia treatment. (Either way we lose >_>, Namco should take a lesson from Atlus with P3 and P4 ) So you have the good for the japs and the bad for us Or you have the vesperia treatment where it sucks for us and it sucks for the japs

Would be cool to have an overworld map kind of like how Dragon Quest VIII had it ^_^

I just didn't like the characters, the game....felt like I was watching an awful teenagers soapy. Never liked the game, made Final Fantasy VIII seem awesome. Not to mention that there were times in that game were I was watching a scene...and it was really a pointless cut scene that was a big waste of time.

As long as it's not a button mashing game like FFVII:CC and the Kingdom Hearts series were like. Plus not to have shit characters like the ones in Final Fantasy X....I think it will be a buy for me easily.

My year was quite good....but at the same time....bad >_> Pros: Got license Got a car Have a job which is doing me good. Lose some weight while been packing some more muscle ^_^ Have finally got some start on a life carrier. Gone is Final Fantasy and Metroid and now.... 1.Dragon Quest Oveture (This song alone makes it sound more epic then any other game ) Heavenly Flight 2.Zelda (Already enough of the songs on this thread ) 3.Persona Persona 3 Mass destruction (battle music) The Battle For Everyone's Souls Persona 4 Reach out to the Truth (battle theme)

FFXII kicked ass, easily better then Final Fantasy X...but then again anything was better then Final Fantasy X All moneyhatted by M$, hence Square wanting the best sales (Which the 360 userbase is crap in japan, so they have to try and make it americanised) Ah crap...here we go again Dragon Quest can be played by ANYONE!!! right when the series started, the game was made to make an RPG simple that anyone could play it, and it worked and has been doing that since....forever(Shit, my mother is playing Dragon Quest IV on the DS and she rarely plays RPG's at all.) Which one are you talking about? Sqaure? or Enix? Since they only joined last gen, so did you only start playing most of their games last gen? If you like belts and zippers, with everything flashy, while there are more cutscenes then there are with gameplay, and fight scenes which will be button mashing...then you are going to love it you need to stop bloody worrying. The one group which Square-Enix will never displease....are the japanese, with Dragon Quest. America and all the other countries come second to them.

I don't know if it's true, but from what I am seeing from Gaf, it's FUCKING TRUE!!!! Square-Enix had a Dragon Quest conference just a moment ago (Iwata was there as well it seems) And it seems like they said that Dragon Quest X is coming for the Wii. Now if this is false, please lock or delete this thread....but if it isn't....HOLY MOTHER OF GOD I NEED SOME NEW FUCKING PANTS RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This year has been a gem for me. So many posts of gamers crying over how there are no games for the Wii and that they won't touch something that the the whole family can play, been enjoyable to read Yeah, it's true that Nintendo hasn't brought out the best for this year...but shit, the way everyone is acting, it's like the end of the world. I don't know about you, but the Wii IMO had fantastic games this year... Mario Kart Super Smash Bros Brawl. Disaster Day Of Crisis. Wii Fit Wii music Animal Crossing (It's the first time for me playing it so I don't care what you guys say) So Nintendo are taking it a lot easier. Shit, I'm happy. I have far too many games to get through at the moment, you just have to look at the DS line-up to see that(and the PS2). In the end, I don't care. As long as Nintendo bring out the games which I enjoy I really couldn't care less if they were bringing out more to the casual, heck, that's good for me, means I have more fun with other people.
