Graphics may look shiny but it doesn't make up for the horrific gameplay. Still find it hilarious that the guy talking says "It uses real physics so the bricks will fall in a realistic way". Then they fall all over the place as if they were full of helium. All that physics calculation for something so irrelevant.

Not to mention there were a few times when Nintendo have shown interest in the MMO department.

OK I can see why you get so annoyed with it now, just think it helps sometimes when people see how much it annoys the community. Also with looking through long threads, just scan the last 2 or 3 pages and if what you're about to put down isn't there, then post away. Most people also start these posts with "Sorry if this has been posted already etc". It's much better to have 1 misplaced/mistimed post rather than a whole thread that's all,

There will probably (not definitely) be Excite Truck near launch and all the reviews say how fun it it. If you want realism and sponsors then go get another console cos I don't see PGR or GT coming to the Wii anytime soon.

I didn't know that this has been posted before. However don't moan just because you start a new thread for every thought you have and people think that's wrong. Didn't you think that if there is an official thread for a game then any information about that go should be posted there? And don't go crying about not having started a decent thread. He means the fighting in mid air within the game. This is very obious from the trailer as 2 of the new characters can fly! Also Link's power move is a mid-air attack

The original PSX controller had no rumble and also no analog sticks. Then they brought out the DualShock, which ahd these features. It was simply upgraded for the PS2 and PS3.

Excite truck looked like they had the engine pretty down pat so the rest is content creation and testing. They could finish it pretty quickly I'd think.

He's managed to articulate what I've been trying to say for a while now about the macho-ness. I was trying to liken it to marketing cars. But he's right. We are all in for happy times I think.

Errrr only played on PC (in Chineese!) Was thinking about this as a possible Wii game. Didn't realise it got a console release.

As most have said, as a stand alone game I think it is superb. But I think there are a few things that put people off about it: 3. It's a hard game. Best for those who like a bit more of a challenge 2. It's not based on a world that contains every environment on earth (snow, larva, desert, inside of your nicotine addicted auntie's lungs etc.) 1. Comparing it to MP1. It just shouldn't be done. There are so many differences. Must admit though that I thought the weapons and visors from MP2 needed a bit more umph. Dark visor was a rip off of the heat visor and the Echo visor wasn't used enough or in many different ways. Loved the look of the Echo visor though. Need I say much about the weapons? But all these things aside I did really enjoy this game,

I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo did something really crazy with their packaging. I mean, they are trying to change the industry adn the stigmas around it. They might want to make packaging that looks nothing like a normal game. But the stuff above is crap. It's just really bad. Very 360ish and just shite.
