Received my Luigi's mansion Diorama yesterday.

hmm, I pre-ordered my copy from Amazon at the start of the week and it said it was due to arrive today. Now when I take a look at my orders page, it says I won't get it until Tuesday next week. Not sure why that's happened, i have amazon prime so it shouldn't be down to postage.

looking forward to playing Red Shells creations in this as much as I am looking forward to playing the game itself.

I remember back in the early days of the Stars catalog you got stars just for signing into the the website every day. I remember someone on these forums had it set up so Nintendo.co.uk was their home page, so anytime they went online they automatically got some stars without having to think about it. I'm sure they had a ton saved up, but back then the stars catalog was mostly known for having desktop wallpaper to buy rather then psychical items. Of course, by the time they started offering decent items they also introduced the expiry date on star points.

Damn, I don't have anywhere near enough stars to get that coin. Oh well, I'll probably get something from the eshop with the remainder.

I had a much better Splatfest this time around compared to the last two, with hardly any lag or connection issues. The few times i did get a connection error was in the lobby anyway. I picked Dance and got to top level "Dancing King" this morning. Edit - looks like singers won

yeah, i'm glad they bought it back before they completely closed the stars catalog. There isnt much left I can get with my 650 stars that I actually want but I'm hoping that Club Nintendo coin ends up being something like 500, because I'd like to get that too.

I'm going to give this a try. Normally, standard games are fine for me, its just Splatfests that have any issues. Which is odd when Splatfests are basically region locked matches.

I had to give up on this splatfest, constant disconnections and and incredibly one sided matches due to people getting dropped / disconnected midway through a game, meant it wasn't much fun for me this time.

I don't think any part of MKWii was really unpolished, it looked great when it was released. And as kav82 said, some of MK8's online options feel like a backwards step in comparison. I enjoy MK8 a lot but that doesn't prevent me from seeing its faults. The ones that really stick out are ones that MKWii didn't have, like time trial leader boards being inferior and lack of proper battle mode maps.

Had a three vs four game just now and we won:

had a few games like that too. I said this with the last Splatfest but I assumed connections would be better during these events since they are basically regional matches but I actually find them worse. I will say it did get a lot better the last hour I played though. Team Sleep!

I played some Splatoon this morning just to cheer myself up a little but of course, the hub world is designed to show Miiverse posts which is currently people paying their respects to Iwata. It was actually a little overwhelming seeing all of those posts and drawings from everyone in the game like that.
