I would have loved to have joined you guys but its difficult for me to narrow down a certain time as to when I would be online. Today I was playing in short bursts here and there, but i made it to King in the end. I had a much better time with the Splatfest this time around, almost all games where Flight vs Invisibility (instead of the same sides fighting themselves like Ketchup vs Ketchup last month) and very few issues with latency or connections too.

It seems the Japanese Splatfest will be McDonalds Fries vs Chicken McNuggets

I really hope Ubisoft put out a demo for this

hey I'd be down for that. I've actually gone back to the first game a number of times over the past week because as much as I like Splatoon 2, i prefer Splatoon 1 a great deal more, although I can't explain exactly why.

So...that stuff won't be available to buy in-game then? sucks for me as I lost my smartphone a month ago and its unlikely I'll be getting another for a long while.

I don't mind it so much, although I do prefer the original there were a few songs on the new soundtrack i actually preferred. Regardless of what soundtrack they use, as I already own the game on Steam, 360 and my Wii U and this point so i doubt I'll buy it a 4th time. Even if its one of my favourite games.

I feel like this is a return to form for Plinkett after the The Force Awakens review he did (I felt that was kinda rambling nonsense). I feel this video nails a lot of whats wrong with this movie perfectly.

I vaguely remember at one of the investors meetings a couple of years back, that they mentioned cloud saves for the NX. I always assumed that would be up and ready by the time the console came out but for some reason it isn't

I remember it happening a few times, but like @Nicktendo said, it only really happened when one of the choices was far more popular then the other. I never had it happen as much as last nights Splatfest though, because the vast majority of my matches were Ketchup vs Ketchup throughout the 4 hours I was playing it. But yeah, the reason its getting more of a reaction now is probably because more westerners are playing this series now then ever before

yeah me too, i noticed Mayo players were better in general. Also, the American Splatfest results just came in and Mayo won lol

Not sure what changed but the last 40 minutes or so were completely solid, no disconnections from myself or any other players and almost every match was Mayo vs Ketchup. I made it to Ketchup King so I'll probably stop playing for the night. How long does this Splatfest last?

I thought Salmon run was still going partly through this Splatfest, I'm pretty certain I saw it mentioned in the opening a couple of hours ago. It is closed now though.

I've had it happen right at the end of the match each time so far. It happened again a little while ago and I got this message

yeah i played for the past hour and everything was Ketchup vs Ketchup apart from two games. Annoyingly, the two normal games I had both ended in disconnects. Also, I've been playing since 12pm and hadn't had any issues with connections at all until the Splatfest started
