Yeah they start the show off saying they don't do cheap gimmicks...then say "hey you can link your PSP up to the PS3 and use it as a wing mirror in a racing game!"
-
Oh man that is cool...

I didnt hear him say Novemeber but he did say a worldwide release at the start. But then Sony have been saying that for a little while now.
-
This is true.

Did I just hear: "When I play games, I become a monkey"?

If you put a Playstation game in a PS2 you can make the games loading times faster by telling it to use the 32X-speed CD drive. The other option filters textures on polygons to make them look "smoother". Although its hardly noicable on most games. Maybe Nintendo could put something along these lines but I can't really say the loading times on the gamecube are worth speeding up...theres no games I can think of with large loading times. And I don't think the Gamecubes graphics need to be made any smoother etc.

I don't remember Cube Europe being full of spam last year, I mean there where a few pointless topics but nothing that ruined the forum...then again this year is more then likely to be very different. I think 'regular posters+ only' is probably the best option mentioned so far.

Name A Game You Should Play Before Wii.

How about Zelda Four swords Adventures. You control 4 links at once and can use the GBA to control the single player game or the normal GC controller. The multiplayer is outright awesome though (although you have to all use GBA's for that). The game isn’t structured like a normal Zelda game as it has levels and any items or hearts pieces you get are taken from you at the end of every stage. Also you can only ever hold one item at a time. When walking around you can change the formation the four links or separate them completely to help solve puzzles or defeat bosses. Some of the things I like about this game though is the way that when you collect a Bow and arrow, you can make all 4 links stand in a line and each will shoot. Also if you have something that causes fire in the game, you can walk up to a patch of grass and it will set it all alight. Also the game uses similar graphics to Zelda A link to the past and is a real nostalgia trip because of it. -
Oh man, that Dr Tran video is hilarious! This video isn’t funny or anything but I thought it was cool, from what I can see its someone that’s hacked into Super Smash brothers melee with all manner of crazy stuff happening as a result. http://www.gametrailers.com/umwatcher.php?id=1792

There’s so many games But I'll name just one: Donkey Kong Jungle Beat: Its one of the most fun games I think I've ever played. You would think a platformer played by using a pair of Bongo's would be: A) Not very good and a bit hard to control B) And when you do get used to it, its just a platformer at the end of the day. Nothing special But No. DKJB really is quite excellent. It'll take all of a few seconds to get used to the controls and before you know it you're pulling off endless combos in levels to try and beat whatever the high score is. Make sure you buy it with the drums though, they deliberately made it as close to unplayable with the normal GC controller. -

Hit and run is actually a fun game. I'm a bit surprised they haven’t made some sort of sequel to it already. -
I didnt watch it from start to finish but I caught the mian even which was pretty cool, loads of moments where I wasnt sure who would win. Also:http://www.eelw.atothosting.com/misc/table.gif

Did anyone catch this part?: edit - BGS did in the other topic You know, the buttons are all still being mapped out. It does use the trigger buttons right now. I don't know how much we'll have locked in for you at E3 because we are still working on the final button layout, but it does use the trigger buttons, and it does use the accelerometer in the nunchuck unit as well for juking. Guess it's confirmed then! -
That would actually make a great advert IMO. I wish Nintendo would do something like that for an advert here. However there’s still no getting away from the fact that Wii said out loud sounds like Wee. I've heard on 3 different radio stations today where the Nintendo Wii was mentioned and the host/s make a comment on it sounding like Wee. Immature or not I'm not sure that’s a great way for the buzz for Nintendo's new console to start. Check this out: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7935064058166993925&q=Ayds&pl=true. Even though they are talking about a Diet plan called Ayds and they even have the word 'Ayds' written on the screen several times...don't tell me it doesn’t make it sound like they're talking about acquired immune deficiency syndrome.

Yeah the free publicity is certainly working. I supose releasing the name a week before E3 is actually a great idea rather then having all the talk about the consoles name drown out all the software they show on the night. By the time E3 comes chances are the name won't be so out of place and we can just talk about the games. Can't wait to see what Donkey Kong Wii looks like.

I like that, for a CRT its pretty slim too. I'd buy it (as long as its £350)
