  1. Not long to go I have a day off when this comes out too!
  2. Thanks Nintendohnut, I thought I'd try my luck and put my name down to replace anyone inactive and just in case, I've been following this one from the start. Very interesting so far and it's only night 2!
  3. Thanks, looking forward to it. My first mafia game ;D

  4. Those screens look great (especially the bunny one). I didn't realise it would be out so soon.
  5. Rapiizard Venoduck Paradude
  6. I really enjoy the part in Zombieland where Woody Harrelson's character says that he's not great at goodbyes, so he says 'that'll do pig'. Audio Also most of the lines from In Bruges. I went to bruges recently and at the top of the bell tower there is a section they've temporarily blocked off with plywood. There are quotes from the film scrawled all over it lol. "You're an inanimate fucking object!" is probably my favourite from that one. But there is one in the deleted scenes where Ralph Fiennes (again) is on a train and someone tries to start up a conversation with him:
  7. Seriously? Molyneux was all over it though. Well this isn't looking good for mainstream games. Might be a while before we see any games with gameplay that lasts for more than 30 minutes. And yeah, it is way too expensive.
  8. Here is a little video about magnets and the human body.
  9. Sums up my situation. The only games I'm looking forward to really are coming out on the 360 and 3DS. Kinect could have been really interesting and pushed forward the motion control thing more than we could hope for. Unfortunately Microsoft seem happy to take the idea but not the ingenuity behind it. We've yet to see how Fable 3 will use Kinect (probably just for expressions or something minor) but so far all we've seen are the same kinds of casual games clogging up the Wii game library.
  10. Anyone care to explain how to embed youtube on here? Sigh. Unless it's just me it's not showing for... [Edit] Thanks
  11. I like my alone time. I have a few close friends who I see now and then and obviously people I know at work but if I had to choose something to do it would be to stay in my room and play games. Although I am an avid online gamer, I do so mostly with interchangeable randoms rather than people I know. There are only 2 or 3 people who I regularly play online with. I get bored very easily with social things. One thing I really hate is small talk. Unfortunately if you're meeting someone new you can only go through small talk which is why I'm usually quiet around people I don't know. I find it hard to care about anything anyone else does really - the small gossipy things anyway. Yes. This for me too. Did it last night in fact. I was out with a group of friends, we went to a few different bars and after a couple of hours of standing/sitting around chatting/drinking I'd had my fill and had to leave before the boredom rotted my mind. I don't know how people can stay out for the whole night... though it may be because I don't seem to get drunk very easily and they were all wasted.
  12. The problem I had (and I think a lot of people said at the time) with wind waker was that it was just too easy. OoT and MM were very difficult games (MM more than OoT I think). I may just be that I was older and more experienced by the time WW came out but I thought it was a hell of a lot easier than the previous two installments. OoT and MM were so great for me because you really feel the struggle. The atmosphere in MM is amazing, I've not seen it repeated in any other game (people who love MM will know what I'm on about here but I'm too lazy to go into it). WW was more 'oh no they took your sister' and then 3 hours later you beat the game. I liked Twilight Princess a lot. Wind Waker was a really fun game but I think TP is better and I'm looking forward to Skyward Sword. The first Zelda game to be made with motion controls in mind from the start. It should be the most intuitive Zelda yet.
  13. limited edition Nintendo DS (original). 3 months before UK release they were on the stars catalogue and I got one. Came with a demo for metroid: hunters and warioware. It may have come with Mario 64 too but I can't remember if I got that later. It came in a limited edition 'vip' box with a t-shirt with the DS logo and 'touch me' written on it. I think there were 3000 up for grabs from the catalogue. I also have the legend of zelda collector's disc with Zelda, Zelda II, OoT, MM and a trial of Wind Waker (20 mins of the game) but I don't know how rare that is.
  14. No, that's the one
  15. Everything about it is completely unrealistic and the guy in it is an unbelievable arse. It's great though, I can't stop watching
  16. Just got the game and I'm already disappointed... Only 250 stars! I'll never get that Zelda beach towel Now to start playing...
  17. The second time I saw Madness live I was really excited because I was right at the front, but they turned up over an hour late. There wasn't any explanation or apology but no one really seemed to mind that much once they started - I know I didn't. I suppose some acts can just get away with it.
  18. If this won't be starting until another one ends then I'd like to take part
  19. I've never played a mafia game but I've been watching a few for the last week. It's obvious people have different opinions on this matter so it's probably better left to the GM's discretion. If you don't like the way a game is run, make your own perhaps?
  20. After Reading and Leeds you would've thought he could learn his lesson. There is no excuse for leaving your fans waiting like that. Nob jockey. I heard that they were late for either reading or leeds because show organisers has said that anyone that was an hour late for their set wouldn't get paid... so they were 58 minutes late. Hilarious...
  21. I'm so weak... I ordered this: http://www.gamestation.co.uk/Consoles/Xbox-360/Xbox-360-250GB-Halo-Reach-Limited-Edition-Console/~r421720/?s=reach+xbox+360
  22. I don't think I've ever used the d-pad on the 360 controller... I almost forgot it has one
  23. I'd like to have a go. First mafia for me though [edit] second mafia :P
  24. Didn't catch my interest the first time round and I still have no interest now. I'll see if if my friends are going and I'm not working for once but otherwise I'll give it another miss. I like how it's helped to re-introduce 3D movies though.
  25. Nintendo have definitely been consistently the best with controllers for me. Always comfortable with easy to reach buttons, always intuitive. The N64 controller is probably my favourite, closely followed by the wavebird. The xbox 360 controller comes in third for me too, the only issue is that unlike Nintendo controllers it doesn't have the hexagonal edge around the analogue sticks which made the N64 and Wavebird controllers the best for precise aiming. I'm not including the wii-remote in this because it's not a conventional controller and deserves its own category really. Otherwise it would probably be first on my list.
