The second time I saw Madness live I was really excited because I was right at the front, but they turned up over an hour late. There wasn't any explanation or apology but no one really seemed to mind that much once they started - I know I didn't. I suppose some acts can just get away with it.

I've never played a mafia game but I've been watching a few for the last week. It's obvious people have different opinions on this matter so it's probably better left to the GM's discretion. If you don't like the way a game is run, make your own perhaps?

After Reading and Leeds you would've thought he could learn his lesson. There is no excuse for leaving your fans waiting like that. Nob jockey. I heard that they were late for either reading or leeds because show organisers has said that anyone that was an hour late for their set wouldn't get paid... so they were 58 minutes late. Hilarious...

Didn't catch my interest the first time round and I still have no interest now. I'll see if if my friends are going and I'm not working for once but otherwise I'll give it another miss. I like how it's helped to re-introduce 3D movies though.

Nintendo have definitely been consistently the best with controllers for me. Always comfortable with easy to reach buttons, always intuitive. The N64 controller is probably my favourite, closely followed by the wavebird. The xbox 360 controller comes in third for me too, the only issue is that unlike Nintendo controllers it doesn't have the hexagonal edge around the analogue sticks which made the N64 and Wavebird controllers the best for precise aiming. I'm not including the wii-remote in this because it's not a conventional controller and deserves its own category really. Otherwise it would probably be first on my list.

I pre-ordered from Play.com. You get a metroid sticker for the wii remote with it. Sticker came, game didn't. Baffled. I bet I have to wait until Monday before the game comes not impressed.

The difference is Derren Brown states time and time again that he is an illusionist and nothing he does is real. It's all power of persuasion. If someone still thinks he's magic (lol) after listening to him specifically say he's just doing a trick then I have no sympathy for that person, they'd have to be spectacularly dim.

Well I like Derren Brown and his stance against fraudulent 'psychics' so I will be watching this with interest. Fairly sure there won't be an actual plane dropping out of the sky though.

Definitely looking forward to this one, trying not to find out too much about it until I can actually watch it. Also, district 9 and cloverfield are both brilliant films that deserve sequels

Seriously into this again now, looks like I stopped watching just before it got amazingly good again. I love the music they use in Chuck, the soundtrack has helped me discover a lot of good bands. They should win an award for the music because it's always so well-suited and really helps build up the climactic endings - especially in season 3 episode 13

I think they'll stick with white. They changed from Black Stig to White Stig after Perry McCarthy outed himself but The Stig character is a lot more well-known now and there's a lot of merchandise with the White Stig on. I like not knowing who The Stig really is (even though I don't know who Ben Collins is), it helps allude to the joke of him being an entity instead of an actual human being.

Like many of you, I also have great memories from these forums. I don't post much nowadays but I lurk a bit. Definitely the best part about this forum is the real sense of community. Even if you don't post much you feel included and this is probably one of the least spam/troll-filled forums you could find.

Just ordered it from Play.com (2 for £25) so if you have another game you haven't gotten round to buying yet (and it's in the 2 for 25 list) then it's worth it. Looking forward to some sword action!

I gave up on Chuck a few episodes into season 3. After everything that happened at the end of season 2 I found it quite disappointing how quickly they returned to normal in season 3. I actually would've been happier if they ended it with season 2's finale. Might pick it up again though, this thread has rekindled my interest.

I'm looking forward to this game more than Skyward Sword. Lylat wars is one of my all-time favourite games

I think you're right, using the bow and arrow in Zelda like it's used in Wii Sports Resort is a bit more complicated and time-consuming but ultimately more immersive and realistic. I think any bow and arrow puzzles will be better off for it but it may reduce the bow's usefulness as a quick draw weapon in any open battle areas

It won't need a d-pad. Analogue sticks go left, right, up and down just like a d-pad would. When I play the old Sonic games on my 360, I don't use the D-Pad even though the Megadrive had one. For comfort reasons a d-pad would probably be better but if there's no room for one then it won't be that much of an issue. We don't even know the shape of this thing yet, logic says it'll be book-shaped like the DS but you never know.
