£25 for Ghost Squad? You could complete it in an arcade for less than that (assuming you're any good at shooting games and the gun is configured correctly). Only cost me £8 to do every route in every mission. I want a sequel now Whats the Wii remote like as a light gun substitute? If i had a Wii i'd pick up Zak & Wiki. The bad reviews of NiGHTS and Geometry Wars £20 price tag vs the £6 it costs on XBLA would put me off the other 2

In terms of power cards pretty much go like this these days: Nvidia 8800 Ultra Nvidia 8800 GTX Nvidia 8800 GTS 512MB Nvidia 8800 GT 512MB ATi 3870 Nvidia 8800 GT 256MB ATi 3850 ATi 2900 Pro That takes you from about £400 all the way down to £90. The 8800GT is the best price/performance card on the list, but it's only got a single slot cooler. If you're PC isn't particularly well cooled then go for one with an after market cooler, fit a new cooler yourself or buy an 8800GTS. The stock cooler is also pretty loud as coolers go, whether or not thats noticeable depends on you're case and the location of you're computer. Someone with a setup like mine would notice it, someone with a normal case stored under the desk probably wouldn't. The ATi cards aren't so powerful for gaming, but they decode HD video better, have AVIVO (video capture) technology and are generally quieter and cooler than the NVidia cards. Theres no 'best' card to buy at the moment, only the one that best suits you're needs. Ignore the Ultra, GTX and 2900Pro though, they're all bad value for money. You can take all this with a pinch of salt though, by April the whole thing will have changed. The new Intel and AMD processors will be out, there will have been numerous price drops and refinements and the ATi 3870 X2 (2x3870 on one card) and Nvidia 9800GX2 (2x8800 on one card) will be out.

Die Hard 4.0 - 4.0/10 (see the rather lame joke?) This isn't a Die Hard film! Sure it's called 'Die Hard' and stars Bruce Willis, but it destroys the whole concept of Die Hard and then tries to rebuild it in the mould of a modern action movie. As a Die Hard film it fails, as a xXx clone it fails miserably. All in all it's pure garbage! The embarrassing thing is Die Hard is a formula so simple it's actually harder to it mess up than it is to get it right! Epic Fail.

"My 360 broke." "No i don't have a reciept." That usually works, people on they're customer service desks are trained to bend over backwards to help people. They won't give you a refund, but they'll have no problems with an exchange.

Tesco? Or is there somewhere else selling them stupidly cheap?

This is why i dislike Blu Ray, it's very design is to screw consumers over. Hardware manufacturers love it because of the constantly evolving spec. Changes to BD-J mean that BD 1.0 and 1.1 players won't be able to play certain disks without skips/judders or possibly even at all! This means that all current Blu-Ray owners (apart from those with a PS3) will have to buy a new player in 12 months time, more lovely money for Panasonic, Samsung et all! Studios love it because of the DRM. Heck, theres even patents to lock disks to the first player it's used in (killing the 2nd hand market) and another to disable the player if it's tampered with in any way (by means of BD Live). No more region free and no more import market. It's all about Sony and they're partners grabbing as much cash as they can from idiot consumers who don't look at what they're buying. How many businesses are they going to kill by removing the 2nd hand and import markets? And how much free money have they gained from selling unfinished Blu-Ray players to unwary consumers?

Sounds like a very odd game...

ATi confuse you? You're gonna have fun choosing an Nvidia card then :p Just make sure you don't get one of the old 8800s that are named exactly the same as the new ones, but are slower, run hotter and consume more power...

Thank god for Adblock!

My only objection is it seems silly to see a guy with a sword fighting a guy with a lightsabre. I mean, COME ON! Would rather have seen Final Fantasy characters or something like that. Heck i'd even have settled for Sauron and Gandalf... EDIT: Necrid was awesome! Hope he returns! Link was plain crap, one of the most useless characters in the game

Bumpage! How does tonight/tomorrow night around 8 sound?

Actually, the only companies that only make Blu-Ray computers are Dell and Sony. Apple haven't bothered at all, despite putting they're name in the Blu-Ray camp at the start of this. HP, Acer, Asus and Toshiba all have HD-DVD machines out. I really hate it when people try to use bullshit to correct me

It was 'FAO: Retro-Lover' Basically one of the forum users started flaming Ashmat (then Retro-Lover) and it snowballed from there. By the end of it people were joking around, breaking the rules and posting dodgy images (i won't go in to what)

It's quite sad really. The original Epic Thread was quite funny at the time, but it was funny because it was random. You can't plan this stuff...

They'll use a Blu Ray drive instead?

I'd guess £200-£250 second hand

Im experiencing Bleh at the moment. I've got nothing to do. Nothing at all! Im on holiday from work and i actually miss the place! Whats really worrying is im turning in to a workaholic, people have actually had to force me to go home! For the money they pay i really shouldn't be feeling like that! I guess it's time to get a more time consuming and better paid job, hell maybe even a new life!

http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18700 This is what GLaDOS was doing. Nobody is online that can tidy it up right now, but hopefully an Admin will see it now.

Swords are difficult to use, you need years of training. If you needed a full size weapon then a spear is pretty simple, it used to be regarded as a peasant weapon because it required little training to be used effectively.
