Well looking at the figures they don't. Nintendo expect to sell another 25 Million Wii's this year, bringing the number up to almost 50 Million. They expect to sell 177 Million games. They expect each Wii owner to buy a mere 3 games in the next 12 months, they obviously aren't that confident about software sales themselves (unless that 177 Million is just Nintendo's own games? Im not sure) It also shows why developers are so apprehensive about making Wii games aimed at the "hardcore" audience. The only game to shift over a million that isn't liscenced or mini-games is Red Steel. A single game out of 26. It's an expensive proposition, especially when you consider that No More Heroes, Zak and Wiki, NiGHTS and similar games cost a lot more to make than most of the games on the Million Seller list...

Good choise Caris Damn right. I saw him trying to take on 2 cops (both wielding shotguns) using a knife. I mean WTF? Then later on he's with Roman and the cops are chasing him. He gets out of his car, walks in to a fast food restaurant, shoots Roman twice, panics, pulls out his mobile phone and runs around in circles until he dies...

Nope, i meant retailers selling early. I've heard nothing about Argos/Tesco et all selling ahead of release day yet, but they'll have their stock by now (or tomorrow at the latest)

People join the army for the social aspect. The camaraderie of the whole thing is the appeal, it makes you feel part of a group and you make really great friends. On top of this you get to see the world, are fed, housed and paid pretty well really (considering your living costs are pretty much paid for already). If that appeals to you and your not bothered about increased risk to your health, the possibility of having to kill someone or having to serve for a minimum of 4 years then there really isn't much reason not to go for it. Who knows, you might find the fulfilment in your life that you are seeking. I've considered it myself, then again i've considered a lot of different career paths recently. Im bored with life and my career options are surprisingly limited despite good GCSEs and A-Levels. Maybe i'll see you there

Unreal Tournament 3 was a bit shite. By a bit i mean UT2004 is one of my favourite games ever, so naturally i bought UT3 on release day. Installed it, played it for an hour, uninstalled it. It's like they spent 3 years on the graphics and 6 months rushing through game play changes which tbh suck ass. Gears was pretty good though and Gears 2 will hopefully live up to expectations. My point? They're not a huge loss for the Wii really. They're all about graphics (even though they do and have made some good games). Still, i do find the first page funny. Some of you guys actually believe you have a better grasp on game industry finance than Mark Rein!

Im working next Tuesday, but it's to my advantage! Im working 6:30-2:30 which means im in store half an hour before the shop opens, letting me grab my copy before they disappear off the shelves! The best part? When i finish at 2:30 im off until the 9th May!

Nope, we've got 2 more matches to fight. A 3 way against Spirit + Sam and whoever wins out of Skunky + mate and Rez + Martinst. I must say im not wholey looking forward to the next one, i't gonna start getting tough...

I thought it was piss poor. It was far too shiny (if you get what i mean?) Anyhow, there have been some decent DC movies in the past few years. Batman Begins, V For Vendetta, Constantine, The Road To Perdition, The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, A History of Violence, The Fountain, Stardust. Ok some would argue that Constantine and LXG were crap but i liked them The future looks pretty good for DC Movies too; The Dark Knight, The Spirit, Watchmen, Justice League, The Man Of Steel, The Flash, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern all announced!

For all those that don't know Chris Cornell pulled out due to "Recording commitments" My respect for the guy has disappeared completely, he pulled the same excuse with Audioslave at Leeds and Reading 2 years ago...

Radiant Dawn has a pretty good story going, a little predictable though. Playing wise it's not as good as PoR, there's times when it really, really drags on (the difficulty doesn't help)
